How To Share A Video On Your Website

Wealthy Affiliate makes any bloggers life easier!

Today I discover an easy way to add a video on a new post for my website on the Content Editor feature here on Wealthy Affiliate.

Whether you're a newbie or an advanced website owner, the way to add a video to your website is the way I was doing it until today:

• Write a new content for your website.
• Go to YouTube to find the video you want to share on your website
• Get the code to embed the video to your new content.
• Go to "text" on your new content on your dashboard
• Add the code
• Click on the embed button
• Video will be there.

As I have been using the content Editor here on Wealthy Affiliate to write my new post for my website (s) since I started to use it, I used to write the new post, then I used to published it and then I used to edit it on my website.

One thing to do when I used to do when I edited my post on my website was to add the video I wanted to share on my website.

Sometimes things happens the right way when I do a mistake.

The other day I was writing a new blog post for my website and by mistake I added the code to embed a video to it, I did this as I didn't want the video got lost and I couldn't find it later.

So I kept working on that blog post and saved it, I knew I had to come back later and keep working on it.

When I came back to keep working on that post... Voila!!! the video was there!!!

Hey Wealthy Affiliate, I didn't know Content Editor could do it! And it saved some work and time for me!

So here it is what I do now to share a video when I write a new blog post for my website.

Step 1

Start writing a new blog post on Content Editor here on Wealthy Affiliate.

For this example, I do what Kyle suggest doing: Write the tittle, write the subtitles, and then write the article.

I like to add on these steps the photos and now the video so it can give me more idea on what I'll be writing.

Step 2

Go to YouTube and click to share the video and this small window will open for you.

Click on the icon to embed to get the video code

Step 3

The window will show the video code,

Step 4

If you only want that video will show on your website, and you don't want the YouTube window on your website shows more different videos, scroll down and click off that option for the video

Step 5

Click on the video code and copy it

Step 6

Add the code to your new blog post on the content editor and save it.

Keep working on your new content as you used to work on it, when you finish you can save it or publish it.

Step 7

After saving your new blog post for your website, you can refresh it and the video will be ready on it.

How amazing is this! It works great!!

Once more Wealthy Affiliate help us to work better and easier while we all create more content for our websites!
