How To Get Traffic To Your Website - Facebook
Hello everyone,
As I keep working to create content for my website, I keep using Social Media to drive more traffic to my website.
The best advice would be to find out where your follower is, as not everyone use all Social Media.
And if you try to work on all Social Media platform at the same time, you might get so busy sharing your content on it, that you might not get enough time to create more content for your website.
I have shared a few blogs sharing how Pinterest works and the traffic I get to my sites, I'm happy with the results and I keep getting traffic everyday on my website.
I thought there was no point to use Facebook as much as Pinterest as Facebook is not working good if you use in without paying for ads.
But as I've already my Facebook page for my website, I decided the other day to share a couple of blog posts on it.
It was a big surprise to get some good results from it.
So why not to get working on it, it doesn't take too much time to share one blog post from my website every day, and get a few more visits to my website.
The results.
I must say I follow WA training to create my website content, and as I understand it takes time to rank better, I keep working on my website almost every day creating more content, but a little help from Social Media it's always good for any business.
This week I created a new blog post for my website following all the steps for SEO, and just for curiosity as soon as I publish it I checked this new blog post on Google Analytic!
It was good to see there was someone reading my new blog post! :)
2. After I published my new blog post, I shared it on my Facebook Page and on a Group.
10 minutes later I check the Group page and I found 4 likes and 5 people shared my new blog post.
This means people were interested to visit my website to read this blog post, the more shares your content gets the more people will visit your website :)
To share your content to a Facebook group, you need to share the link to your post, the more groups you belong to the more people will know about your content on your website.
This time I only shared my link to just one group. So I'm happy with the results.
You need to check if the group you are part of, if you can share links to your website or not.
3 Back to my website,
As soon as I publish new content, I always share my content on Google +, Twitter, and Pinterest.
This last week I started to share my content on Facebook.
It was a nice surprise to see people are sharing my blog post.
The next day I got 9 shares.
But if you want to go deeper, you can check on Facebook and find out who shared your post and you can see more people will be sharing it.
The more shares you get the more traffic your website will get.
4 - I also shared some other blog post from my website on Facebook and it looks I'm getting some shares also.
5 - Pinterest VS Facebook.
Well, I must say the true, my website gets more traffic from Pinterest, as you can see here the numbers show a big difference between these two Social Media platforms.
But I've been working with Pinterest for a few months and I can see the good results from it, on Facebook, I just started to work on it last week, so I will give Facebook the opportunity and I will keep an eye on it for a few weeks.
The most important here is to think, every visit to my website is important.
So I will keep working to create more content for this website and I hope to come back here and share with everyone a success story.
I'm already a winner with a website where I can create content people is getting to like, I still need to work on it and the next step will be creating my own product.

Step by step Jim, you don't need to do everything in one day, a good idea to work on this is to make an agenda for sharing your Social Media content.
This is really good advice and you are getting great results. I too get more visitors from Pinterest but direct traffic has now over taken my social media traffic. I have no idea why ? I. Not even sure what direct traffic is except that people are actually putting my website into google ?

Your question got me curious... and it turns out that direct traffic means from those visiting your URL directly. See screen print below.
I was thinking it meant organic traffic but that is when visitors come to your domain from the search engine results.
Thanks for the tips on sharing on social media, my daughter has found great success with Pinterest and that is the one she recommends to me.
