When a website doesn't work like it should be, Don't Quit, Change The Strategy!
Hello everyone
I hope you're safe and keep working on your website (s)
January has been a hard month for us on our website, traffic went low and we have been talking about what we can do.
Quitting is not on our list so we will try a few different things on this website.
However, this website is still getting one or two sales from it, so this shows us even a website with low traffic can make you one or two dollars more!
Things we think might be the problem:
- Hit by the last Google algorithm - We need to check old post to see if those post answer to public questions.
- January can be a slow month on our niche - Could be people are not interested on our niche during the beginning of the year. Also, we know its hard times for many people, they might not be interested to look on our niche for the moment (crafts)
What We Can Try
The strategy we will try is to write different type of posts, as we have a good number of money post, we will try to write " How to " and some tutorials.
In one or two months we will see if this site is back to normal traffic or if it gets even more traffic than before.
Quitting is not an option, we'll keep at it!

Hola, Alejandra,
For sure, I will not quit. A few days ago I celebrated my 4 years at WA. I plan to stay as long as I can, you can bet on that.
I know Google likes me less than years ago, but never mind. I will continue with my thing, take it or leave it.

If things are not progressing as we wish, change strategy a bit to see what works but never give up.

Same here. Low traffic, one, two sales. One, two dollars.
At the beginning of this month, year, I have decided to start a new website, bringing it closer to my home, Malaysia.
Back to basics. Following the WA training course closely. This time building an eCommerce Store. Busy, challenging, motivated.
