August 2021 Website Wins Report, after a full month working to create new content, I can see my blog is getting more traffic!
Hello everyone!
It's about the end of the month and it's time to share the month report and some wins!
7 Years As A Member Of Wealthy Affiliate
It's easy to forget about what month I signed up to this amazing community, but I got the e-mail about my 7th anniversary and the bill.
I must say, I'm happy to pay that bill as everyday I'm working better on my websites and I'm starting to see better results, so WA yearly price is an investment on my online business, and I must say, my website in Spanish might be paying for it for the first time! And it feels so good!
Month Report
For the first time I have no real numbers about how many new posts I wrote, but I might say it was enough to start seeing some good results.
Crafts Website, one in English and one in Spanish
2 weekly posts on each one, plus one video on YouTube, Sewing tutorials.
- I must say, this month, after 7 years working on different websites, and some of them were a total fail and they are not anymore on the web, I discover the power of the "Low Hanging Fruit Keywords"
- As my mother tongue is Spanish, the website in this language is my guinea pig, I do the experiments and tests on this site, I started to publish more posts with new keywords and in a new way and the results were fantastic!
- The Website in Spanish was getting around 50 to 60 daily visits, the last week reached an amazing number of 140 to 150 daily visits.
- Keeping an eye on Google Analytic, I can see the new posts are doing the magic!
Trying New Things On Your Website
Slow and with all the precautions, I published 2 or 3 posts with the same idea on the main website in English, were my husband and I work together.
I'm happy to report this:
- The organic traffic at the end of 2020 was around 50 visits per day, it went very low with Google changed the game, it took me a few months to start working on new posts to do better.
- On Search Console, this website used to have over 1000 organic clicks, with Google update went down to 400.
- Today I'm happy to see 1200 organic clicks on this website.
With this report I can see how finding good keywords to write new content, it's starting to work great.
The New Website - Not Too Good Yet
Well, this website looks like needs lots of work yet and time to mature, but I will keep working on it.
Money Repport
When the website in Spanish stared making some money it was just about a few pennies every day, but now it's doing better from $0.50 to 1 or even 2 dollars per day!
Affiliate Marketing Report
I'm working to write more info-post on my websites with no affiliate links on them for the moment, so I'm really glad to see one of my sites made $ 7 dollars this week on Amazon!
This week I made about $ 20 dollars on my online business.
This money might seem to be very little, but I see it like a big win!
If my websites can make $ 20 dollars in one week, this means they can make more, and I'm going to make this to work good!
Closing
Some will find the way to work on a website the right way in the first weeks, some (like me) will find the way in a longer path.
My advice, keep at it, put the money on your business (if you can) and get all the help you need, this is why this community is amazing!
It doesn't matter if you can make it in a few weeks or in a couple of years, this is something that has been tested to work great, believe, work on it and make it happen.
Hope you find some answers to your questions about whether or not to keep working on your website on this blog.
There will be days when you might not see some good results, I had many of them, but if you believe on it, and you keep working on it, it will work great.

Getting the good results in the beginning is always the most difficult thing, it could happen in a matter of months, but, more likely years are needed before we really see a return on what we have invested.
I am happy that you have reached this stage Alejandra, things will escalate now for you in the future.

Todos los días checo mis blogs tanto en Google Analytics como en Google Search Console, ahi puedo ver, que es lo que la gente quiere ver de mis blogs.
En Google Search Console, veo que paginas y que keywords tienen mas búsquedas, y cuantas impresiones tiene cada post o pagina y que preguntas o frases buscan las personas.
En GSC, puedo ver el porque mis posts no tienen tantas visitas, por ejempo: si un post tiene muchas impresiones y pocos clicks, esto significa que la gente tiene interés de leer ese post (titulo) pero mi post no esta bien escrito o no responde a la pregunta de la gente.
Si tomo un post, y veo el porque no tiene tantas visitas, puedo cambiar o modificar los H3 en ese post, la introducción y la meta-descripción. Espero de 2 a 4 semanas para ver los resultados.
Lo que me esta ayudando mucho también, es pedir comentarios aquí en WA, un post puede subir muy bien en el ranqueo cuando pido comentarios, ya que manda la información a Google que el post recibe visitas y las personas pasan un tiempo leyendo el post y escriben un comentario.
Todo esto, también me da información, sobre escribir mas posts sobre este tópico o categoría, o dejar de escribir y enfocarme en otro tópico.

How I use Google Search Console To help me to write new content for my website.
I check how one site is doing on GSC almost every day.
I can see if a post is getting many or a few impressions and just a few o no visits.
This will give me the information that people are interesting to read about this topic, but my post is not good enough for them to visit.
====> What to do
Following WA training, I can rewrite the introduction, and also the subtitles (H3)
I let this post to work for 2 to 4 weeks, and then I can see some changes.
WA Comments
By asking comments here at WA, I can see Google gets good signs about my website, by doing this, it has helped me to rank some posts on page one.
It takes lots of time and work, but it worths!

Wow! Alejandra, I commend you for your endurance, I am here gong two years and think I was wasting time not making money, even though this is my first time admitting to this, but GIRL! this is really encouraging.
