A bloggers life can start like any other regular day.

Frist coffee of the day.

On the "to do list" might be written already to keep doing some research for a new article for his or her blog and write over or close to 2000 words on it.

Plubish it and share it on Social Media.

Second coffee of the day and maybe go for a 15 minute walk to stay healthy and after that cook something for lunch (dinner in Quebec)

Have lunch with my husband, talk about what we did this morning and before I go to my part time job I always have some time to go back on my laptop and check how everything is going,

(yes I can take 10 minutes to go on Facebook and see how my family in Mexico and friends are doing)

Surprise, surprise, suprise = NO INTERNET.

- Ok, we have been there many times, and internet will be back any moment.

Living in the country has many good points, but living far from anything, well I must say we (my husband and I) had been lucky to have found a great internet service that help us to keep working on our websites everyday.

10 minutes after I noticed our internet service was down, still no internet on for us.

30 minutes after - well by that time we were thinking "ok they might be having a problem with the power in the city"

I went to work (2 to 3 hours) and back home, guess what????

- yes you are right, still no internet service back!!!

So I gave them a call to let them know about our problem. We always leave just a message and they always call us back to let us know what the problem is. Not this time.

That night, it was a TV time and reading time.

Early in the morning - STILL NO INTERNET!!! (sorry for the capitals, but I was in panick mode)

We had to wait as we are use to waking up early every day and we needed to wait for office hourse to give those guys a phone call to let them know about our problem with the internet.

Around 9 am we called them and we left a second message - No call back from them.

Around 11 am we gave them one more call - No call back from them either. Hmmmm

PANIC MODE AGAIN???? No, no, that can no happen to us, keep calm.

Around 2 pm we gave them another call and this time half hour later they called back to let us know:

-Sorry, we've been having a major problem and we need some new parts but we can't find them here, so we ordered them and we wont get them until thursday.

OMG!! it was Monday!!

So we need to wait, 4 more days with no internet!!! Ok, ok, keep calm

PLAN B.

Ok we can go tomorrow morning with our laptops to have breakfast and to get an WIFI conecction.

The best thing happened today.

I woke up early this morning, grabed a cup of coffee and went back to my bedroom to turn on the TV and keep reading my book.

5 minutes later my husband got there with a happy face and told me:

"INTERNET IS BACK"

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Well, we had two full days with no internet, over 200 email waiting to be read, and a long list of "to do" things to catch up. But we are happy we got the internet service two days earlier of what they say.

I think our Internet Service Provider is one of the best!!!

It's a small company, it's not expensive, it's unlimited and it works pretty good most all the time, so this time when they had a "hard" moment, it was ok for us to be patiance and wait for them to fix up the problem.

So here we are both, as members me and my hustand of this great community, happy to be back and be able to keep working on our websites.

Glad you service finally got restored Alejandra. I definitely would have gone into the panic mode myself. It sounds like this is pretty unusual for your provider which is a good thing. Hope you both get all caught up.
Jerome

I know the feeling about not having electricity and internet service.
This winter has not been easy for Nor Easter.

Anyway, I am happy that your service is back up and running again!

Have a Great Weekend!

Blessings!

Glad you got that fixed

You had a short vacation. Hope some of it was enjoyable.

You're right, this is a good way to turn a no good moment into a good one, I could spend some time reading a good book,
Thanks for you comment.

I empathize with you. My computer was in the shop for a week, and since I don't like doing work on my other digital devices, it was like having no internet.

Keep pressing ones and yours, Alejandra.

Oh my! one week with no computer to keep working, I also can understand you.
I have tried to work on my IPad, but it's hard to get used to work on it to write more content for my website and add images on it with no good results, as you I also like to work on my trusty computer most of the time.
Thanks for taking the time to comment here on my blog Allan.
Keep at it.
