The Second Week Of January 2023 And Overwhelm Is Back Already
Hi Everyone,
I hope your year is going well so far.
I have lots of things going on, most of which i initiated last year, and after a slight relaxation over Christmas and New Year, the workload is ramping up again towards overload.
How do you cope with your own workload?
When i reflect on where I was and what i was doing a year ago, i was doing much the same sort of thing ie blogging related to my property business and also all the online marketing stuff. However, there was a big difference at that time, I was working largely alone, so I was producing a lot less content.
A year ago I did not have a small team of VA´s supporting me for different aspects of my business.
I of these VA´s does Social Media posts for my property business, and another VA is allocated for the low cost business start up and MMOL niche. A third VA does SEO for all my sites.
A year ago i was not doing so many videos at all, whereas these days I am doing videos daily as i have 2 Youtube channels that are now monetised. I also have a few more websites for Affiliate Marketing as well.
So, just by writing this post I have reassured myself that I am heading in the right direction for my business according to the WA training, ie I am creating more content in different formats, and re-purposing what I do for the different Social Media platforms. I am referring from time to time to all the success stories on WA so as to get motivation and advice on best practice from their success stories.
I am investing heavily in making my business successful, and i think that having refocussed on promotion of WA as well for 2023, this is helping me.
One area that i need to do some more work on is researching keywords of my competitors and updating my posts and websites accordingly.
It seems that with a bigger team i have more work to do as well to keep them all fed and watered, as well as supplied with the right information.

It sounds like you’re doing fine. The key to dealing with “overload” is to take a little time for yourself.
It can sound counterproductive from a business point of view, but you have to care for yourself if you want to take care of your business!

Hi Alan! That is a good problem to have! As obviously, your business is prospering that’s why you need as much VA’s, which eventually would bring a lot of revenues, as you seem to maximize the work output.

As Jessie says, I think we are all in the same boat. It’s just the size of the creek and what flows down it, is different. Lol.
As long as we keep our head above water ( or whatever) we are making progress. Hang in there and keep them churning out.

Hi Stephen, Thank you for taking the time to comment. Yes of course most people have the same problems. I pledged myself to write more posts this year, so that was on my mind at the time I wrote that post. I think on reflection I am grateful to live where I do and be able to do the things I do, rather than live somewhere where there is no accessible internet, and fewer opportunities in life.
