Summer 2019 Update On Progress With My Internet Journey
Hey WA Community,
I never imagined that, when I started my internet journey more than 2 years ago, that there would be so many miles to walk (metaphorically) and so many new things to learn (really), and so many false starts, diversions, setbacks and disappointments along the way.
The one constant thing is the support which I have whilst on my journey from the Wealthy Affiliate training and community. I have at my disposal all the training and the massive database of knowledge within the community, and the willingness to share useful information by the mentors and ambassadors. This is really essential.
Can you imagine making a journey without modern navigational aids. Whenever you need to ask a question, there is always some suitable source of information available.
Recently, i have been on holiday from work, which means that I have had some time in order to catch up with my online business tasks. Happy Days!
I feel that I am making progress towards my online destination, but still dont know exactly where the destination is, as if I am walking in the desert knowing that I am moving in the right direction, but without knowing exactly how far I have to go:-)
What I am conscious of is the need to focus my efforts in order to maximise the progress, and that diluted effort will result in a less satisfactory rate of progress, hence more time taken before I reach my destination. Your time is really your key resource and you need to spend it wisely, always!

Good Morning Alan,
I also started 2 and a half year ago and you are right, it is not always easy. I just continue writing for my 2 websites, learning new things along the way and hope for the best.
I also hope you encounter some little oasis on your route through the desert. Keep smiling.
