13 months at WA - How Time Flies!
We are into October already, and the last 3 months have flown by. During that time, I have been working full time on upgrading my website, creating new review posts, and generally improving SEO performance following Bo´s Gogetters training and WA training generally. Things are improving but frustratingly slowly. I still need to up my game on Social Media.
I remember a year ago this month and I was pursuing an e-commerce shiny object, which didnt work out. It is amazing how much there is to learn about the internet and how to make money from it, as opposed to wasting time and money pursuing elusive dreams and dead ends.
The one thing I have managed to keep going, albeit in fits and starts has been the Blog at WA.
I am trying to get to a position where I can build an email list, so need to focus on that in order to make it happen.
Having worked for 3 months on my own website, I am now going to have to focus on another dayjob for a while, so need to get back into a different regime and work part time on my website. I am determined to keep going on that because when i read about the success stories here on WA, it gives me confidence that the time I invest now, will be rewarded later.

Hang in there and just keep moving one foot in front of the other.
I can relate to the day-job thing however, I am grateful to have another source of income while I build my online business and even more grateful I have WA as my refuge!
When things aren't going as well as I would like at work I just tell myself "only x number of hours until I get home to work on my site". Makes the 9-5 grind much more manageable. :-)

a retired 80 yr old I have been online for the past 15 yrs doing bits of this and bits of that - even wrote a "7 Step Beginners Programme" for building websites 12 yrs ago and thought I knew a lot - that is until I was introduced to WA 2-3 months ago and started working on their training....which I think is excellent. by the way.
Agree with you that it will take time to work through all the training Alan - it is such a comprehensive programme and I wish I had found it all those years ago when I retired.....whatever....I have now - and like you will be working my way through the whole thing no matter how much time it takes me..
That will take time too because I only spend 2-3 hours per day 5 days per week working at it but I have to say that after just 3 months I am seeing results in the form of commission for new members I have introduced.....and of course I hope to be introducing a lot more in the coming months too

Congrats on getting another day job that will help relieve some of the financial pressures that you are facing while you are building your online business.
Like you, I love the WA success stories. They serve to remind me that it is not only possible, but that success does not happen over night. It takes time, discipline and a refusal to give up.
