Negative Reviews of WA! Are you serious?

I was checking WA Reviews on the internet and found some negative reviews ranked on the first page of Google. These authors seem to be too confident in their opinion about WA.

What THEY did not like about WA?

1. Outdated Training:

According to them, WA has outdated training. It is good 10 years back, but now this stuff is just outdated!!

Really?

When you start learning Mathematics in your school, do you not learn numbers, addition, subtraction, etc.

When you start learning science, do you start looking at the most recent research paper!!

We all start with fundamentals, right?

This is exactly what WA training provides. "Fundamentals".

And, Fundamentals are never outdated.

2. WA does not teach about email Marketing, Instagram, YouTube SEO, FB Ads, etc!!

I think they never attended WA weekly webinars. We have complete series on these topics. Along with core training, attending webinars is also equally essential.

email marketing makes sense only when you have good traffic on your blog. So, the core focus of WA is to get us into the habit of publishing traffic producing content on a regular basis.

3. There is no proper guidance on Niche Selection!

According to WA training, "There is no such thing as choosing a wrong niche"- and a blog objected to this statement.

Why?

You should start writing about whatever you are good at.

Just keep writing, and make sure to do proper keyword research as suggested in the core training.

Why an additional training is required for anyone to select their niche!

Even if any training guides you in finding your niche. Can you write about it with full authority? Will you be able to present your original thoughts and experiences?

No, right?

The best formula is "LEARN-DO-TEACH".

  • Keep learning what you are good at, or whatever you want to be good at.
  • Do it by yourself, collect experience.
  • And, share your learning with others.

All niches are profitable. And, There is no such thing as choosing a wrong niche.

4. They review Kyle's websites

waystoavoidscamsonline and howtolosebellyfattoday, these websites were started by Kyle for training purposes. We all know that building and growing WA is his main task.

Apart from these 2, I know many other domains that Kyle has.

There is no point in proving that these websites are performing poorly and are outdated.

Someone like him hardly gets any time to focus on building a particular blog. There is always a lot to do in WA, also he has his personal preferences, he will grow these sites if and when he wants to!

5. WA pushes others to promote WA (OR) You can earn money through WA, only by promoting WA!

Some of you might agree with this.

But the point is, even if you are not a WA member. If you are a blogger, you have domain and hosting from Bluehost/Hostgator or another hosting provider.

And, if you are happy with your domain/hosting. Won't you promote them?

WA platform doesn't only give domain/hosting, it also provides step-by-step foundational training, COMMUNITY, Live chat, and weekly webinars.

There is absolutely NO REASON for not promoting WA!

Even if you don't want to promote this platform, then you have other Affiliate marketplaces, where you can choose the product in your niche and promote them.

There are many other baseless allegations that I found, that are not even worth mentioning here.

BUT

Is the change really required in WA? What are your thoughts?

What is the one thing you want to see in WA, which is not here already?

Thanks for your time reading this post. Have a great week ahead with WA :)

The negative reviews I've read about WA have been from other affiliate marketers promoting other training programs that are more expensive and don't have anywhere near the benefits you find on the WA platform.

The only really minor issue I've had has been when Kyle demonstrates something in the video and you discover the platform is quite different now to what he is demonstrating. It's pretty easy to work it out, though.

Bang on, Jenni.

I have seen many negative reviews about WA but also of other sites too. The worst one came from a guy (is WA's competitor, from Canada) who claimed that WA teaches us to write Fake Reviews, pulling lost members from his site to WA. Those Fake Reviews are still on his site. He goes on to length about the study how his sites were performing better than WA and that review is just as outdated as Kyle's other site. I've seen people call WA a crappy program needed only for dummies. They recommended their program, and of course their program are high ticket, you must pay over 1K or more to join. Its crazy but that's how it is. We know this platform works. Many success stories. Some have left and still looking for the shiny object syndrome only to come back here. There will always be negative review of many other affiliate programs to promote their number one recommendation. That is not new. If WA is a crappy program how come we got millions of members still using this platform compared to the other platform has much less than WA. That should put people's thinking cap to work, eh.

You are absolutely on point, Brenda.

Well, I've heard people saying the training was outdated when I started with WA in 2019. I followed the training and learned how to use keywords and now after two years, I do get some commissions so it must work :-)
You will always find people who criticize whatever they encounter. Each to their own :-)
Lenka

That's true, Lenka.
When I joined WA, any negative reviews about the WA Platform didn't bother me at all.
Probably, in my case, WA was 'love at first sight' lol:)

That's a good shout, Akshay!

All the negative reviews I've seen are far from comprehensive and are promoting other, overpriced products that deliver a fraction of the benefit of WA.

The more successful anyone or any organisation is, the more people take pop shots.

WA has evolved twice since I get involved last year. I wonder how many of the biased reviewers will revisit.
:-)
Richard

Being an affiliate of WA, if I look at the negatives of WA, there won't be any major one.
Still, if I have to point one thing, it would be the UI/UX of our websites.
Most WA member's websites look very basic. If there is structured guidance available in the core training on how to make our blog looks like a pro, then the visitor's experience would be great.
Yes, it is explained well in weekly webinars.
But probably a little more is required in core training.

What do you say? Do you have any such minor issues with WA?

Hi Akshay
Since flexibility of design is theme dependent, and there are thousands of themes to choose from, I guess that to achieve what you suggest would mean picking one theme for training purposes.

I’m not sure it would be cost-effective to produce such training when most themes have good support associated with them.

However, training designed to help members appreciate the many generic design options they might not realise are possible, and which helps to further develop a knowledge of technical terms used in web design, might add value.
:-)
Richard

Yes, you're right Richard.
Website design is theme dependent. Premium you go on themes, better website design you will get.

Funny how many of those negative reviews end in try this instead and the half-baked product is basically summed up in purchase snake-oil software that creates p[aid advertising guaranteed unless you read the fine print to work.

The companies paying for these attacks have tons of money given to them by fools looking for a fast buck and they have only one mission. If they can just get WA out of the way they can scam more people.

Some of the training videos show older back-office areas in WP, and a couple of the plugins mentioned are no longer maintained but the training is rock solid. Heck, some of this marketing stuff has worked since Moses Marketed the 10 Commandments to the World and will work the next 2000 years as well.

Outdated means nothing if talking about aesthetics instead of value so next review, please.

Very well said, Andy.
