My Key Learning and Progress made during this Pandemic

Hello WAmily,

Today is the 6th month sitting in home under complete Lockdown. A lot of things are going on these days. I don't know why but I am just not able to manage my time well.

Before this Pandemic, when I had regular Full-Time job, I used to spend a good time in WA. And, my WA Rank was under 200. But now it falls to 1140...

Anyways, in this post I am sharing with you about the things happened with me during this complete LockDown and by the way I live in HotSpot zone of the city, so I go out only twice a month.

Progress made during this Pandemic:

1. Joined a new job

During March/April I was in a notice period from my previous job and I had to resign during April. I resigned it with no idea on where to join next!!

April, May, June went by...

I had no idea on how to find a new job during this pandemic.

But ultimately on July I joined a new company, here I have flexibility to work from home 100% even after this pandemic is over.

This is like my dream come true. Now, I can go back to my native city and live with my family. I'll keep a room dedicated for my office work and another room dedicated for WA work :)

So excited...

2. Wrote an eBook

During April, May and June I immersed myself in a lot of training especially I focused on Affiliate Bootcamp and leveling up my blogging skills.

AND, most importantly I created an eBook called "Untold Secrets of Digital Marketing career" where I have collected all the learning and experiences of my year long job experience, this book will help freshers to join a good Digital Marketing job.

And, Guess what??

After writing this eBook I was able to sell 15 copies without paid advertising.

Currently, this eBook is under editing and then I am planning to run paid campaigns.

3. I learned LinkedIn from scratch and optimized my profile.

Honestly speaking, I joined WA when I was just starting off my career. I had an engineering degree, getting into WA caused me to deviate my old career path and get into Digital Marketing. Through LinkedIn I started creating a new professional network, met some really cool people. And, my professional network is growing rapidly now.

People's suggestions:

Many people suggested me to join Freelancing path but I just love full-time career, and I will continue doing full time job before I fully get into the path of entrepreneurship. I just don't have Freelancing mindset.

What's my progress with Affiliate Marketing?

In Affiliate Marketing, I always had a plan to launch big. In this Pandemic I was able to get 10+ free WA referrals through organic traffic. Have to spend a bit more efforts from my end. I'll surely able to achieve my Affiliate Marketing goals soon.

Currently, I need to manage my time properly. A good amount of time to my new job.

And, also a good amount to time to my website.

I look forward to get away from this tough Pandemic time of Lockdown.

Also, I feel blessed to learn and achieve some good stuff during all these months.
