The Value of Writing Quality Content
Content is King, we are told over and over again. But what people often fail to tell us is that not any content is king but Quality Content.
For 6 months, I have been procrastinating writing a piece on starting and running a business online. The opportunity came last week and I dived in.
I had done a lot of the research online to see what people had written on the subject and what was missing. I especially looked for what people hadn't treated sufficiently, from my own experience.
What was left to do to write the piece was the keyword research. I searched "starting an online business" and "running an online business" in Jaaxy and went over to Google to see if my chosen keywords were being actively searched for. Then I chose the best 5 or 6.
I used a keyword in the title, one in the opening paragraph, some in the H2 sub-headings and sprinkled the rest throughout the text. I used the same keywords as tags.
The result is astounding.
I got traffic as I had never seen before. See screenshot below:
Imagine having a certian number of such rich content on my blog! This shows thez importance of updating our content regularly. I'm busily working on more stuff I had researched and hopefully my jpourney to the top will hit cruising speed.
