How Sweet Procrastination is In the Dawdler’s Psyche
The writing of this piece has been haunting me for some time now but became more forceful in my mind on 30th May 2019.
While roaming through my head for a title, the first line of this Christian song came mind into my mind:
How sweet the name of Jesus Christ is in the believer’s ears. I saw the parallel with the piece in my mind and wrote the title out of it.
In effect, I had published the piece “Suddenly I lack enthusiasm and I don’t know why” the other day. It came from this feeling of not knowing what to write.
Anytime I sit down to write and I feel myself not equal to the task, I find daydreaming as a way out of my dilemma.
But I remembered this inscription I saw decades ago on a truck in Lagos, the then capital city and now economic capital of Nigeria: No food for lazy man. And I know there will be no ranking for a writer cocooned up in writer’s block.
That’s why I want to seize this opportunity to thank all those who commented on the above-cited piece to encourage me to spring back into the ring. This is only round 2 and God knows if we’re going to12 or beyond.
Once again, thank you for your words of compassion. They’re producing the desired effect already. And I know I can avoid the K.O.

Well said. You can do and I know it's hard something to push through that wall. I say just get a running and jump sideways through. I found when I just start writing about anything in my niche it comes together the more I write.
