How do you choose a good business type name for your website

Hi and Welcome. Even though I have been a member for nearly 2 years, I have only just started the training again 2 weeks ago. My problem two years ago was I couldnt decide on a niche. I couldnt decide on a name and even though I purchased a domain - it didnt feel right. So in the end I quit.

Picking this up again, I decided to not over think my niche. Not overthink my name and just get something out there on a website. Follow the training and work through each step. But do it daily.
I now have a website (super raw) out on the www. and I feel happy with how it is going.

I look at it as - this first website is my niche. My passion. It may not be the one that is going to make any money, but it is the one I am gaining so much knowledge on.

So my advise is - DONT OVER THINK IT - Just do it.

A good name is important, try and use good keywords, from Jaxxy search as part of your name. Don't worry about having the exact name as your domain name. Sometimes it may be taken, you can always add a word to the domain name ie location, or 'best of' or something like that. Then, the name you want have as the title of the site and SEO the you know what out of it, so the person who has the name you wanted originally will be jealous because your site is above them in the google searches. ;)

Welcome to WA Alan and yes finding a good name for your business is so important
When I started I wrote a list of all the things I enjoy and have knowledge about, then I picked 5 and then out of the 5 I picked my choice.
Your niche must be of interest to lots of people, something you can monetize down the track and something you can truly help people with
In the training, you will learn so much and I hope this gives you some help as well
Success and fun on your new adventure
Vicki

Thanks so much for the info

First do the training slowly. Then concentrate on a Niche that you will love writing about. Make sure your business name is similar to your domain name. Jim
