I'm thinking of entering the cheating niche as something new, can anyone help me figure out a good, profitable sub-niche to get started in, I'm great with niches, but still try

how about Consequences of cheating or dare to cheat or cheaters never win just a few all the best Max

Do you mean cheating people in relationships the only thing I could think of is either private detective stuff, books on how to spot a cheat and maybe stuff to help you get over it

lol just thinking outside the box Katie :)

I think women cheating on me would be pretty "nichey" in itself. It's like a subniche of dating I guess. More specific than that and you may run out of content ideas.

Ok thanks for that I thought it was but with my freedom weight loss site I have been told by everyone it's not niche enough so i thought I'd check.

Appreciate the help

Ok then lol women cheating on men.

Sub niche =

Niche > sector of niche > sub niche
Health and fitness > body building > ketogenic bodybuilding diet plans

Are you planning to sell dating site subscriptions? I really can't think of a profitable "sub-niche" without knowing the products.

I also feel there is such a thing as bieng TOO specific. How many articles can you write on a "sub niche?"

Think back to training: Kyle's niche is "how to lose belly fat." He didn't need to drill down to "Lose belly fat with paleo diets." If cheating in relationships is your thing, just think about the prodcut, do a little keyword research and you might be able to identify a sub- niche or decide it's niche enough already.

Thanks for that, appreciate it :)

I think I coined a new word: "Prodcut." Is there such a thing as Adult Onset Dyslexia?

Haha probably, or more than likely your like me, your brain moves faster than your fingers when typing lol.

Cheating niche? Cheating what?

Magic 8-ball says: Concentrate and ask again.

Cheating at what? What do you mean by sub-niches?

Can you provide relevant background info to your question?

I had a referral sign up and their rank is "unranked" what does this mean?

I see that you got your answer

Kennick hit the nail on the head.
Ed

Kenneck's answer is correct.

You might also explain the occasional time lag in the rankings from time to time so they do not get excited in the wrong way:) Dave.

They haven't completed their profile

Thanks Kennick! Appreciate the speedy reply!

I can't upload images to WP, I keep getting an error, tried multiple images, anyone else experiencing this? Perhaps just a server issue?

To the WA blog?? or to your website??

Website. All sorted now man thank you :)

glad for you how did you manage to resolve this issue i had this problem now

Mine is doing fine!
Ed

So glad you got it uploaded,I was just about to say something about trying again later.
Blessings in abundance
Linda

AN FYI it uploaded now, perhaps just a temp glitch in the system, appreciate everyone taking the time though, have a great day!

Great!

if you try to drag and drop, try different way, like find the file on your computer.

If you have big site (already alot of posts/pages) and alot of big pictures you probably have too much space taken by pictures.
If you load pictures of sizes 1+ MB it will take all of your space very quickly.
Try resizing them and removing the big ones. Usually pictures that are not whole screen but just 300x300 pix can be as small as ~100-300 kB and they won't lose quality on your site.

What is the storage limit for images? I assumed it was unlimited as it has never been stated otherwise that we have a capped quota for storage at WA

I think that it is 100MB for whole site.
It will become apparent when you try to backup your site manually when backup uses to much space during backing up, it fails.

It has to be under 8mb and the name has to be plain no " < > ' etc.

Try again in an hour or so

Lol the image is only 72kb... and contains no characters only alphanumeric

If the image is too big, it will not download.
John

The error is :

15 - 1.png
An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.

And I have tried .png and .jpg, both I have already uploaded to my server prior, I have even tried images that I have already uploaded to see if they would work.

What's the error message you are getting? That would help to know. WP does not accept certain types of images, also - it like jpg., jpeg, the more widely used forms.

I'd try using the single uploader or whatever it's called as opposed to the automatic one

Hello,

What error do you receive?

Grtz,
Bert

I hope that you get this image situation taken care of Aiden. I know it could be tough.

What did you name your image, WP doesn't accept "" : ; '< >
if you rename just characters it will load

The image has no characters in it, it is simply called "Fitbit range.png" WP changes it to "Fitbit-range.png" for web purposes.

in that case, you have to accept, or change theme as Marion says

You're covered!

Marion Black as you covered on tis.

1) You have 10 excerpts showing on each page of your blogroll. This makes for slow loading and so some of the images are missing until the page loads properly. I suggest reducing the number of excerpts to 5 which will help with page load speed. 2) Try a different theme and see if the problem of featured images not showing is theme related. 3) You should have your images linked to 'None' or an affiliate link instead of linking to the media file.

Thanks, I am not going to change my theme, I have had a lot through a ton and none I like lol, too fussy but I will limit the amount of blog posts per blog roll, appreciate the feedback :)

Have you tried to put the image before the beginning of the heading/paragraph?

Yup sure have, the "more" tag also doesn't show in the blog roll for whatever reason either, maybe I'll delete the post and start again?

It could also be a glitch in the theme. I would also say, choose a different theme as Marion has mentioned, and see if you still have the same problem.

If you don't, it's the theme, if you do, perhaps heed what Marion said in her first point.

To answer your question about a featured image, there is a specific section on the right hand side of your post/page that you can click on Set Featured Image. This will show the image for that post/page.

I assume you've done that too?

I've never used featured images as I've never known about them, I suppose they would come in handy in some instances but I am more concerned with content than stuff like that.

I've never had a problem with this theme until today (that I've noticed) so no idea why it's happening right now?

Appreciate the time spent replying to my message.

It must be because the blogroll is only showing a summary of your posts..

As PJ stated, you need to load an image as your featured image. This is different than just loading an image into the post itself.
Open a post to edit then, scroll down and look to the right, you will see featured image there. Click that to upload a featured image and then it will be visible to the left of your text on your blogroll

I get this but why then do images from other posts show in my blog roll without me doing this? Some do and some don't? Plus the formatting of this post has gone weird for some reason, the headings do not display correctly in the blog roll either which is weird.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, it looks like you may be using the 2014 theme. I used to use that theme with none of the issues that you are having.
The best suggestion that I can make to you if you are planning to stick with this theme is to watch this video, it helped me a lot when I was using that theme.
Marion also had some good suggestions as she normally does :)

https://youtu.be/OyeRYZ_6I2E

I see what you mean you have it on some but not others it is a bit beyond me sorry I cannot help you with this

Kind of stumps me Katie as like you said some work and some don't.

Perhaps they should bring back the Unsolved Mysteries program and we'll run a special :P

lol the way my brain is today do not think I could solve a puzzle let alone a mystery

When using the blogroll on your homepage, it is designed to create a "summary" of each of your blog posts. Generally, the image presented is pulled from the "Feature Image" loaded when creating each specific post. Please check the posts of the ones not showing images and see if a Featured image was created within each post.

What defines it as a "featured image".

If you view the post the first image would be the "featured image" would it? I even had it so there was the H1 title then directly after was the image.

I know how to create a form on my blog using HTML but I don't know how to make it so they input their details then it takes them to paypal - they pay - then after payment is co

I hope that you got your answer Aiden!

Thanks Theresa

If you have a paypal account you can get the button to take your to payment page

In your PayPal business account there should be a section for receiving funds. You set up what you are selling and the price then PayPal will give you the code for a "Buy Now" button that you insert into your page. You can have one for each product you want to sell.

Thanks for the information.

You can set up a payment button directly from Paypal if you have a business account there.

How do you go about doing that?

There are plugins for that. It is basic shopping cart that offers paypal payment and email form. I assume you are trying to capture email to autoresponder? What you can do is make the submit buttion be the link to paypal payment. Go to your paypal account to get that link. Then just add it to the "Submit" button to your email capture form.

Yeah I use a plugin so I'll be punished once again for adding yet another plugin to my website lol!!

I set it up but not sure entirely how it all works, it takes payment (apparently) then refers them back to a page of your choice, a thank you page, no idea where the email comes into it or whatever, I know paypal sends you a receipt via email but how they get the goods who knows?

You may want to check the Wordpress listing for this page or any readme files for the plugin to see how shipping works, and what happens after the person pays. I'd also look into using a premium plugin that comes with support, that may be able to help you set it up and test it. I'm not sure I'd trust a free plugin that integrates with paypal.

There has to be some kind of information on this, no?

I wouldn't worry too much about being "punished" for another plugin though. Low plugins are just a guideline to make your site run faster. Sometimes, you just have to install some extra ones though.

Could you recommend a plugin for Paypal?

If Paypal has its own payment method then thats great and I could make it so an autoresponder sends their digital product that would be easy enough to setup I'm sure.

I've never sold my own products, so I can't really offer specific advice here as to which plugin is going to be best.
