You would still want to optimize your landing page with keywords. This will improve your flow of relevance.

Hi Aidan. I would recommend that you do include keywords in content such as that. If you are using as a landing page where you want people to be coming to your site you will need keywords if you want it to rank in Google.

I would recommend creating separate articles for those keywords where you can talk a bit more in-depth. You can always have links to them within that landing page to help draw people into your website. By having keywords on those other pages that will also help to attract traffic to your site.

As always with keywords, don't overdo it and try and stuff your article full of them to the point where it sounds unnatural. Google doesn't like that and rewards original content which engages your visitors and provides value.

If you just starting out, I would recommend focusing on getting content produced for your site with some really good keywords in there. You can always go back and improve your posts later. I'm really bad at wanting things to be perfect, to extend that sometimes I won't do things at all. I recommend keeping your momentum going, working through the training and improving a little bit each time. All the best

Thank you Andy,

I am the exact same way i have just been eating up information just trying to make this as perfect as a first run through as possible. I will be sure to write articles with the content page.
Thanks,
Aidan

Hi Guys,

Im working for a fundraising company that is a franchise of a larger company. They cannot have their own website but instead were explaining to me that they wan

How will they be driving the traffic? Will they be paying for ads?

Were going to be driving ads and using the ads to hit a very specific demographic (moms/ PTOS/ PTAS/ principles in Minnesota). Apex is a fundraising company that goes to elementary schools. They would want to get the persons email, and/or place a contact us page for questions and inquiries to hire apex for fundraising.
Would I go about creating a website the same way as another affiliate website? Thanks

You would create the website more like a local business website, and we have several training modules on that. I'd recommend using a simple theme like Astra or Generatepress and a plugin like Elementor that has landing page templates you can customize. I'll send you over the links to some of the local business training so you can see how that's done. Exciting project you have going!

Here is some training that will help: Here is another: If you go over to the left, you'll see "Live Events". There is also a search bar. You can type in "local" and you'll see all of the recordings of our live training on local business marketing.

You'll still use the website builder and build the website the same, but the pages and content on the website will be different. You can also find training on Facebook ads there that could probably be helpful for you.

They will be paying for ads and also doing an email list. Thank you tons for sending all of this!

Aidan

You’re welcome! Let me know if you have any more questions.

Hey Aidan, I'm just following up to see how everything is going. I remember you were looking for some answers for your client. Are you finding the answers you need? Is everything progressing okay?

Yes. This is possible. You can send the traffic to a landing page. Basically, you'd create a lead generation website and add some type of contact form to collect the information they'd need, then they can follow up with the customer how they want.

Did they tell you what information they need in order to follow up with the customer? Do they follow up via email or by phone?

Wow. That is a tough one. There are plugins that can help to keep track of leads that can have a stand-alone internet address. Do they have a facebook page? It could be inserted there. I just started using OpinionStage, but there are other 'polls, questionnaires, lead generation' plugins that you can use.

Yeah its a complicated one for sure. They do have facebook so I will going to plug that into the site or page. Ill check out the plug ins thank you.

No problem. I think that will work for you. :)
