Forgive me for my ignorance, but I'm a little confused. Do I CREATE ads on Adsense, or do I CHOOSE what ads to place on my website?
Adsense displays ads for you on your site and you make money each time someone clicks an ad. You don't choose the ads.
Ok, so I don't have to actually create an ad, right? I was worried that my technical skills (or lack thereof) wouldn't be up for the challenge.

I was presented with an interesting question today . . . how does Wealthy Affiliate make money? Is it simply from the members that upgrade to Premium? What is the best respons
My response is this is simply help others. Wealthy Affiliate offers wonders tutorials, we like it while WA earns revenue.
Then our turn. We choose to promote make money ideas, affiliate marketing ideas, we make videos, share products and services, people like them and wants to try them, we get chance to earn money.
After all, WA offers these tools and wordpress workstation to all members free and premium, . Think about tools like pliers and scissors, it's for those who really needed them so they BUY or longing for those items.part of everyday life or career needs
Information about WA is available to anyone who does an internet search. I would direct people to read this information which Kyle and Carson have posted about their company.
I'm sure there is more than membership but that seems like a reasonable answer to me.
Honesty is the best policy and there is no shame in making money so I'd pass along what you know.
