How do I cancel my subscription to weatlhy affiliate?
Please let me know what I need to do to cancel my subscription to wealthy affiliate. I am currently paying $49/month and I would like to shut it down due to financial pressures
If you would like to cancel this membership, you need to follow the steps below.
If you have any websites hosted here at WA, make sure you have backed them up and/or moved it to another host, before you cancel your membership.
Then click on your Profile Image (at the Top of the Left-Hand Side Menu) -> Account Settings -> then Scroll down to Subscription Settings -> Click on Membership and then on Stop Billing & Cancel Membership
WA will keep a backup for up to 60 days, so if you return within 60 days, they can restore your website from their backup. Otherwise, you will need to provide your own backup to restore from.

I am picking up affiliate links for banners and am trying to add them to my pages and posts with no luck. Can someone help?
Hi Abbott! I hope all is well. Check these out. 22 steps on how to add Wealthy Affiliate banner to your website How to add amazon banners to a post How to add an affiliate homepage link? Cheers!
You can do it 2 ways.
- embed code / html code
If the banner provides those, you copy and paste the code to your page
- image and links
You can download the image and add the banner image and then go the image properties and add a link
Thanks for your response. I did copy the html code and then tried to past it on a post page. No joy, I just go the full link without the image of the banner.
If you copy the link, when you are in site manager, go to the "text" mode for you page. Copy the link where you want it. Go back to the visual mode. You should see the banner.

I am setting up a new site related to my blog affiliate site and would like to have my blog posts scroll o the second site. Is there a recommended plug in for the new site tha
hey hi Abbott -- good question and all questions are good ones here!
Kinda curious as to what you're actually trying to accomplish? ...
Normally it is best to dedicate one website to one niche as to provide clarity for your intended audience!
Are the two sites so similar that you are trying to combine the two into one?
Anyway, as Diane has indicated -- caution on the 'duplicate content' issue .... as search engines get rather cranky about that and may have your site(s) banned -- no questions asked either!
...
Hope it works out for you ... :)
Thanks for your questions. I could use advice. I have started a blog site that I am building to include affiliate links. Its called petechprodcts.com. I also want to start a dropshipping site so I set up a second woocommerce site buypettech.com. This site will be purely ecommerce but I thought it would help to add the blog from my first site. Is this an ill advised strategy vs just adding shopping to my orginal blog site. Advice appreciated since I am new at this!!
If I were you, I would simply just add a blog section to your ecommerce website -- simple as that.
That way you would bring visitors to your blog posts and then they could possibly check out the store section making it a win-win combo.
My advice is to focus on just one project at a time, especially if you're just getting started. Otherwise, you'll spread your attention too thin between projects and end up moving very slowly or not moving at all.
P.S.: As for the duplicate content issue, Google (as in the search engine) doesn't really ban websites using duplicate content, but it rather just doesn't rank pages with such kind of copied content. As for Google AdSense (Google's advertising monetization source for publishers), that's a different thing. Google AdSense does ban websites with duplicate content from their platform.

Google is indexing some of that plus image capture titles for stock photos i loaded into my site. Its like goolge is indexing the link to a site?
How do I lean this up?
You can do what you want. If there is no reason to remove, leave it there. If there is, like copyright issues etc. replace it. You can then resubmit the page using Google console.
Thank you. I probably will just leave them. Its weird that google is only indexing some of my images which link back to my home page. Is there any way to pull something down from google once its been up there a for week or so.
Hi Abbott,
I'm not quite sure what you mean, but when you upload images to your articles, you should be able to remove any unwanted titles. It's in the same area as your alt text.
Does this help?
Thank you. Yes, I can remove the titles from below, but its weird that google is only indexing some of my images. Thanks again

Hi everyone - i am trying to edit a publishd post via the content editor. after the editor loads on the page, it is freezing and preventing me from completing my edits
If this post has been published to your blog in WordPress you can also edit it through your Dashboard there. From your WordPress Dashboard select Posts. Then select Edit under the Post you want to edit. It will appear in the WordPress Edit window where you can edit it. After you’ve edited it click the Update button on the right. If you forget to do that no edit will take place.
Hi again - yes, I have tried the edit via dashboard, and posts and edit. Everything loads but then my screen is frozen. I can't change anything.
Hi again - I just followed your instructions again and was able to make my edit. Thank you for your help!!
Glad it worked out. The freezing problem could be related to something else in your computer system and not WA or WordPress. And it sounds intermittent. When anything unusual happens to me my first course of action is to switch the computer off and back on 5 seconds later. Hopefully I will have saved my work before the freeze occurred.
Hi - once a post is published, you can't change anything using Site Content. You have to log in to your website and use WordPress.
