Google Search Console URL inspection, sub-heading ' coverage' , I noticed this notation " Indexed, not submitted in sitemap ".on one of my posts. What does this mean exactly?

Good afternoon my friend, go to your back office create a sitemap for your website, it's pretty simple just a couple clicks. It will alert Google's engines to what articles you have on your website so that they can be index. May you have a beautiful Sunday.

It means that google found that URL from another source. The other source could be an internal link you have in one of your other posts or pages.

Install the plugin All in One SEO ... then go to the SiteMap option and click on create XML Sitemap ... it will create a file with all of your posts and pages automatically. The search engines will find this file and update their indexes within a day or two.

Does anybody know how can I get my URL submitted on sitemap?

What's AIO and HML Sitemap? I only have XML Sitemap

AIO should be All in One. That plugin offers a sitemap module. I'm not familiar with HML. That said, sitemap.xml is the actual sitemap. As for adding your posts to it, assuming you don't mark them as do not index, etc. they should be added automatically by the plugin.

It means the URL was discovered by Google and indexed. And Google is saying that if this is an important URL to submit it using a sitemap.

Sitemaps help Google discover pages and keep track of updates.

It's not necessary by it is recommended because by not doing it you cannot control how often Google re-crawls.

I have 2 questions

1. How do I find out my site rankings on Google and other search engines

2. I was told my Sociable is old (I thought I have plenty of young fr

I remember one very important lesson taught by Kyle which really struck me. Don't tell them, show them. That's a very sound advice. I try to follow that.

what I do , I go into my back office I see what articles have been index in to Google, then I ask Google what rank I am in on that particular article , may you have a wonderful weekend.

One of my favorite tools I use and check nearly daily is http://Wincher.com. For a very low price (like $5 monthly per website) you can enter the keywords you're trying to rank for and they will show you how close you are to page 1, slot 1. I have over 30 keywords within the first 10 results of Google search. I can easily see them within Wincher. Highly recommended.

To check your ranking go to the search engine that you want to check and go into incognito mode and type in your keyword phrase and check page by page.

Example go to Google and type in "how to learn and earn" or what ever your phrase is.

As far as those social plugins I do not use them.

What exactly ' go into incognito mode ' mean? My college hasn't trained us to be CIA agent yet.

Go into a new private window on a search engine.

Here's a hypothetical question.

Say you have 2 or more domains promoting different niches, one promoting affiliate for WA, the 2nd promoting products like a computer. A

One domain = one website, therefore they will be treated individually. It could not be otherwise.

Google would rank them separately as they are two different domains. Verification is either going through Google web master tools or their search console. I am now looking at separate methods of verifying without Google.
If I find something that works for me I will send you the site address.

Without facts to really back this up, in my opinion they will be treated separately, I'm in the process of doing the same thing myself.

Hi - they would be treated separately, each on their own merits.

Is there a way of verifying this?

On Word Press, under All Posts category to the right there are 3 headings

1. SEO Title
2. SEO Description
3. SEO Keywords

I noticed under SEO Title it say

I leave those blank, they auto fill in once you publish your post.

So it depends on your SEO setup.

Some will auto-populate fields with your post title and the first couple lines of your first paragraph, etc.

I, personally, make sure it says what I want it to say. This SEO stuff is what shows when someone performs a search.

For the title, I usually use my post title (and make sure that it contains my keyword). For description, I give a general description of what the article is about (again including the keyword). I don't bother with the keyword part. I let the search engines determine that (most ignore the keywords anyway).

You should check out Jay's and trainings. I think you'll find them quite informative.
