I chose skateboarding "style" as my niche and I don't really know if people are looking for it or not, and I'm pretty stuck on where to begin regarding content around this sight. I

As a suggestion, try making vid clips about you tricks with a commentary on how to do them.

And then monitise your site with what ever equipment skateboarders might need.

Hope this helps.

Nick

this is a great idea because Ik when i skated I was always trying to learn new tricks and how the pros did it. very good ideas man

To write a content about your niche, I suggest that you read your competitors' sites. Go to Google search box and write " skateboard ". Examine and read carefully the sites that appear on the first page. Take your time. Read everything on these sites carefully. Take notes and ideas. After that, start writing your content.

I've learned to narrow down your niche and then narrow it down again into a unique but interesting topic so that way you could end up on the first pages of google and with certain keywords. and they have to be aligned with what people are looking for. "Skateboard" is searched more than most other related keywords and I will do as you suggested and research my competitors to find out "who is my audience" and "what are they looking for" and "how can I best help them and provide them with Value" thanks for the tips

And don't your have some awesome stories to tell ? For example the stacks you had, injuries that kind of stuff. Also what kind of gear would you recommend others to avoid the same or protect against similar situation. What gear is better for something than say it's counter part. I'm sure you have tons to make content with . If you get my drift.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

Nick.

I spent most of my time learning how to do new tricks as a skater and could do most of all the tricks on a skateboard and I dont have to much experience besides when I broke my foot pretty badly

Well, per Jaaxy-Skateboarding gets about 64, 707 searchs a month. I'm thinking people search for skateboarding. History of skateboarding gets 908 searches a month, skateboarding shoes gets 6,803 searches a month, Nike skateboarding gets 7,041 searches a month. Seems to me that this is a nice little niche. Skateboard wheels gets 4,250 searches a month...you have a lot to work with. Have you completed level 1 certification here?

I understand a little bit about Jaaxy, but I've only done about 20 searches so far until I can upgrade next week. My focus when I created my site and domain name was around Skate "styles" like shoes mainly or clothes but when id type into google skate shoes I would see a lot of skate shops online with vendors and basically sites I couldn't compete with unless I had all the raw material. I hope this is a good niche to get into for long term because It is my passion, skateboarding, in general. I wanted to narrow it down to a more specific sub niche and build from there, but if not a lot of people are looking for my specific niche how will I make coin? I hope that makes sense. But I'm on the getting started course 2 at the very end of lesson 2 where you create content on your pages

Go to Ubersuggest.org and put in what you want to write about. Each category will give you the opportunity to drop down. Then take those words to the keyword list here on WA, it's free.

Do you skate board?

not as much as I did about 2 years ago but I skated for about 8 years pretty much full time as a kid lol
