A subdomain is a website that 'piggie backs' on your original domain. If you are using a free domain here at WA you are actually using a sub domain name = yourwebsite.siterubix.com.

You may be in a hurry, but everyone needs to learn before they can earn. I do not mean to be mean by saying this, but one step at a time is the way to build solidly.

Don't worry, Ardie. The Affiliate Bootcamp course will show you exactly how to start from scratch. That is where all successful Wealthy affiliate's affiliate marketers started out.
It is also beneficial that you get to learn how Wealthy Affiliate operates in order to promote it effectively.
You have a lot of help here if you ever feel confused or stuck.

You have received good advice to join affiliate bootcamp. It is in black on the drop down "Activity Dashboard." I have had to do the classes two or three times in order to understand them. I notice that you are similar to me in that we weren't raised with a computer in our hands; therefore, it is difficult to understand all the jargon and special language that is used. So take your time in the classes. Do them over and over if you must. It will all be worth it in the end. Please don't misunderstand and think that I am trying to say that you are as OLD as I. Obviously not. However, computers were something on the way far out future when I was a teenager. So I struggle with them!
Yes Howard, I have had to learn how to use a computer, starting with... "Where's the "Start" Button. It is a lot harder to understand at my age. And Yes, I am 83 years YOUNG. I certainly don't feel my age. But is hard to comprehend all of the information here. I really AM thankful for it though. I can't think of any other business that teaches "How To". Most of them , you are on your own. I think I need a KID to help me with this (:
I would never have guessed your age. You look younger than I. I,m 74. It is a struggle to use the darn thing. Best of everything here at WA.

However, I'd recommend you work your way through Affiliate Bootcamp, as that whole course is designed to get you up-and-running promoting WA. :)
