Our Thoughts And Prayers With Japan, Philippines and Taiwan
Today we lift up in our prayers all of those living in Japan, the Philippines and Taiwan after the 6.1 magnitude earthquake hit in that area midday local time.
The early reports indicate there were some injuries in eastern Taiwan, and the capital of Taipei also felt the tremors.
To all the WA members either living there or who have families there, we pray for your safety and, if affected, for a speedy recovery.
A special prayer is going out to our beloved WA member Jerry Huang who is a resident of Taichung City on the west coast of Taiwan, for his safety and resilience in the aftermath of this natural disaster.
It is important that we the global WA community take the time to keep in our thoughts and prayers all of our members, not only in times of joy and jubilation of success but also in the times when ordeals are present.
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
Martin Luther King, Jr.
May this Holy Week provide relief to all of those affected by today's earthquake, we pray.
Blessings to all!

My heart felt prayers goes to all those directly and indirectly effected in the reported 6.1 earthquacke in Japan, Taiwan and the Philippians. You all will remain in our harts as we share this time of sorrow together with you all but know that our God of comfort will be with you all far more than we can.
God's comfort to you all.
Amen.
Mike,
Decades ago I was in a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Eastern Europe which had casualties as well as destruction of some historic buildings.
I can therefore relate to anyone who has ever experienced such a traumatic event.
Blessings!
May all the people of these countries be safe. My thoughts are also with them during this time.
