Loose Ends OR Endless Losses? - Monday Reflections
Hello worldwide WA community, the hopium of TGIF and the past weekend has once again evaporated and we're back on that much dreaded day of the week which starts with an M....
And, the 1.2 readers of my blog posts know that it is time for another new post on shifting or emerging trends.
This brief post was inspired by an article by CNN Business which points to the loosening of the corporate matrix's standards for hiring new employees and it is summed up in the paragraph below:
Employers are paying more and easing hiring requirements to attract talent in a tight labor market, according to CNN. More and more employers are allowing applicants to forgo drug testing and background checks, while some companies are relaxing their typical education and work experience requirements. One study by recruiting and staffing firm Adecco USA found that nearly 40% of employers say they’ve recently loosened their hiring requirements to help recruit new talent
Now...
What can possibly be wrong with all of that?
Aside from potentially hiring drug users and potential criminals?
Time will tell, however, I personally feel that the "loose ends" strategy can potentially lead to "endless losses" for the corporate matrix.
As entrepreneurs, we should strive to do our own due diligence and find out who we interact, network or deal with. Lowering our guard and standards can only negatively affect our businesses.
Blessings!

Reminds me of my chemistry practicals. If the results dont prove the theory - change the theory 🤓
Thanks Gabriel. That’s so nice of you to say. My novel is currently with a professional editor and I’m working on my book cover illustration with a goal to publish by December, just in time for the holidays. Hope all is well with you too. :)
