I was browsing around when I saw this site... http://bestricecookerratings.com/

I believe the top menu are all pages but I'm not sure about the 'All Reviews' link.

Another option that I want to try is from this tutorial

http://archetyped.com/know/how-to-organize-posts-in-sections-in-wordpress-with-cornerstone/

You can check which theme and plugins are being used at http://whatwpthemeisthat.com/ The site you mentioned is using plugins I've never heard of before. And I think it's a premium theme.

Thanks for chiming in Marion. I saw the plugins and I think the YD is the one used for the Recommended Rice Cookers menu. I'm also going to take a closer look on The Extended Categories plugin.

Her site uses the Thesis WordPress theme. It's pretty fancy in that it has a unique way to customize the look with a built in page builder. It's all drag and drop customization and it's seo optimized as well as responsive. It's pretty sweet. Here's a link to her themes sales page:

http://diythemes.com

Thanks for the reply. That premium theme has a lot of features for the site's appearance but I think you can still recreate its menu structure. I'm just looking for some ideas on how to proceed. I'm going to ask missionops on how he structured his site, http://www.roomfans.net/ and see what I can learn.

This is a nicely done site. Regarding your questions, you can do all this very easily, make pages and category pages and organize sidebar menu, all within usual features of WP.
For the menu in the sidebar, see here: For sidebar menu see here:
http://justmythinking.com/sidebar-menu
For category page and posts in menu see here:
http://justmythinking.com/wordpress-posts-page-add-post-in-menu

Thank you for the reply Jovo. You have some nice tutorials in your site and this is also what I'm doing in my sites. I guess I'm looking for a more straightfoward url just like in the rice cooker site.

I just finished reading about direct linking for promoting WA in PPC. I'm aware that it's harder to convert someone if you're just sending them directly to WA's homepage even i

Excellent campaign,
I think I world leave the free off the title.
You have enough in the content.
You want them to upgrade eventually,
do not mislead. Just my opinion.

Yeah, nice point about removing the free word but it's just a sample ad.

I realize that it is only a sample.
I only mention the removal in this
instance because examples are
where we start. Therefore that is
where we start to adjust. Be Great!

Thanks for the help Ken. Appreciate it.

You are very welcome Raymond.

I'm setting up a review type site and I just wanna ask how do you organize the site's information.

I'm planning to write everything as Posts (informational and reviews)

I like to have pages and blog roll. Pages for information, which can be renewed through blogs.

Thanks for chiming in. I like how the menus in WP are getting more advanced and flexible as we can have more control of what we output in the sidebar or in the navigation area.

Hi,

My approach is to know about the subject you want to write about. Next is to provide quality content and must be in excess of 1,500 words. Set up your article with some sub points and then fill in the details. Be sure to have the keyword somewhere naturally in the first paragraph of the post.

Highly recommend that you have at least one video related with the content. External links to outside (like Wikipedia) your website and internal links to other pages that relates with the subject. All images are to have an Alt Attribute so you can get the best of the Google juice.

At the bottom of your long article page or post have a CTA (Call to Action) to take the visitor either to your affiliate page to buy something or to a review page, or something like that.

Bingo! You're done.

I hope this helps.

George

Thank you for your help but I'm particularly asking about the whole site's organization.

Found Kyle's answer from the Jaaxy blog regarding the data source. Here's what he said...

"We do not rely on just Google because the numbers are often inflated drastically. We leverage several different search engines including Google and have sophisticated algorithms on our end that do a much more accurate job of predicting the traffic that a particular keyword will get. That is why you see the disparity. Also, all of our results are based on exact results as “broad results” are relatively meaningless in this day and age."

Thanks Kyle!

Mmm... thanks for the reply. I know how to use the WA keyword tool. What I'm asking is where does it get the data? I've read that every keyword tool's data also comes from google but I just wanna make sure.

Gotcha. I assume that would be where it is getting it from

Now it seemed like it was a silly question. haha. But I'm wondering why are there different results. Anyway it's not really important. The keyword tool here is definitely much more useful as I see more long tails with good numbers. Thanks Shawn for being kind.

Only way I know, lol
