You are absolutely right that it takes time to start earning.
While there might be niches that are easier to earn money with, there is no way to tell in advance.
Every niche can be a success, so it is best to choose a niche you are passionate about. This will make it easier for you to write consistently.
Some start earning a few dollars within weeks, most need at least a few month to earn their first dollars.
For the real money to roll in you will have to invest a lot of time.
6 months, a year, maybe even more.
