Where did that go?
I started writing a post a number of days ago, but got called away. Before I left I saved the content as a draft, but now i can't find it to continue.
Where did it go?

Hi, as others have said Gutenberg usually autosaves. Click on all posts in left side menu and it should be listed with all your posts. Sorry if you can’t find it, very frustrating.
Justin
was this in sitecontent or on your website.
if on your website do you use gutenberg or classic editor.
there should be backups taken every few minutes in sitecontent so an old version should be there, same with gutenerg. the classic is different and may not backup until saved as draft.
if you click all in sitecontent next to published this will show all of your articles, including the autosaved.
good luck finding it.

Thanks Phil,
I write on my site using Gutenburg, and yes I already presumed that it would be in site content, but when I check it isn't there.
I am not only certain that I manually saved it but also that it had also autosaved whilst I was writing it.
Oh well seems nothing for it but to start again.
did you click on the all button in sitecontent (next to the published/unpublished buttons) - only then will autosaved content be shown.
how does sitecontent get on with publishing to gutenberg?
LOL yeah, and it still isn't there. Not a major had only written about 200 words, just frustrating
Hi Adrian
Where were you writing? In Site Content or in your WA Blog? Either way, if you saved the draft it will still be there.

This happened to me too. I did eventually find it (by accident). I found it in my pages although I know I set as a post. So have a look in your pages to see if it is there.

Janet
Thanks Jan, I didn't think of that
And.......bingo. I bow and kiss your feet.
So you found it then?
Oh yes, exactly where you said it would be hiding

You can turn it into a post by using the "post type switcher".

Janet
Thanks Janet.
