Festive Tribulations

As many of you are aware I suffer from fibromyalgia and my membership here was marked by my slow emergence from a major Fibro Fog.

Well as the Christmas festivities approached I celebrated my 2 month anniversary at WA. a 2 months during which I had battled with my recovery, but I had managed to complete the training and I was slowly producing ever more content for my site and I was rapidly increasing my presence. I had very quickly run up the WA standings and my site was just breaking through and generating some traffic.

I knew to expect a tough time during the festivities, and expected to struggle to get much content out there, but thought that if I took Christmas Day and Boxing day off then I would at the very least be able to do some work, even if it was only site maintenance during the rest of the holiday.

Christmas day was quiet, as expected and planned for, and then my son and daughter arrived on Boxing Day. Unfortunately the drive to collect my daughter took considerably more out of me than I expected and I had another Fibro attack the following day. Consequently, I spent most of the following 2 weeks drifting in and out of fog and at best I only had a vague idea of where I was or what was going on. I did manage to relax enough to be able to at least partially participate in any of the family events that took place over the holiday, but I had little enough energy for anything else.

A result of that has been that my site and membership has been very neglected for far longer than I anticipated. I am now however feeling much more like myself and I have several posts in one form of preparation or another, so hopefully from today onward it is full steam ahead. Let's just hope that my site was established enough to withstand the prolonged absence without too much of a lasting effect.

Take care of yourself Adrian,
The world still turns if you need time off to rest!
I too deal with major health issues and haven’t been as active as I planned the past 2 months.
Luckily this isn’t a race, and I’m committed for the long term, so I do what I can whenever I can.
Happy 2019, wishing you success!
KyleAnn

Just keep feeling better and be kind and patient with your body.
Wishing you a great 2019!

Take care of your health first. Ade.
Stress is your enemy.
Find a way to beat him!

Ade,

Health takes priority over website all the time.

Take as much time as you need to get things done. GO AT YOUR OWN PACE.

If I can help in any way, reach out by PM.

All the best
Maxine

Ade,
So glad you are feeling better! (Fibro Fog sucks).
Websites are forgiving, so you will recover from the absence!

Good luck to you, Ade. I hope your fibromyalgia does not interfere too much more with your website. Slow is fine -- you have to go at the speed you can manage. You will not be penalized for slow -- it will just take you a bit longer to get where you are going. I hope your journey improves from here on.

May the force be with you, Adrian! GOD bless and do take care, Adrain! :o)

Hi Ade,
I'm glad you're regaining your strength and focus. All the best.
Nancy
