Motivational Boost from Joining Wealthy Affiliate
Hi all! I have just signed up here at WA and I love it. Let me give you a little back story into my blogging world before I explain how much and why I love it.
I Started blogging in April 2018. I had done so much research and networking to figure out all the beginning steps and taught myself A LOT! Basically the entire first two training here. It took me the whole year.
Might have gone faster but I broke my foot in June. That had me stopped. Even though I could still sit on my butt and blog with a broken foot, I was trying to survive it with my two kids 6 and 3 through the summer!
Anyway, around Christmas time I started going back at things. Writing, researching SEO, keywords, marketing etc. Things had been going well but not well enough. It's hard to keep working so hard and not see any $$$$.
I started looking into Blogging courses. Although I did not like the idea of paying to learn, especially since I had taught myself so much so far. I really liked the look and feel of EBA. But holy cow its expensive and I was not ready to unload that type of cash. Sad that I would have to wait and keep going on my own I kept researching. I stumbled upon a blog by @VitalityG. He wrote a great review on Wealthy Affiliate. I had to check it out. Access to some free training?! The kind I was looking for to take me to the next level-money making!?
I came and signed up and discovered this was the place to be and even though I am paying some its not cutting as deep into the pockets as EBA would have. Plus I get to ditch the hosting and Domain Name bills I was gonna have to renew in April! Since I could move my blog over to here! And all the instant help that is always here is amazing. I don't have to google and skim Pinterest for hours to find answers to my questions. I love the key word tools that are also available here. I was researching them before but with nowhere near as much efficiency. I was sorta faking it until I made it. Now I can make it happen- I know how or at least have access to people who do!
I haven't made any money on my blog yet but as I continue through the training and workshops here I feel likes its only a matter of time. Learning is so much easier when you have a guided check list (my favorite feature by the way).
I already have an idea of what training I can create for everyone here. Canva is my favorite tool I have used since the first day I started blogging. If there is not one already about it about people want to learn it, eventually I could teach it. It's a free graphic creating software. Very intuitive and helpful and my life line.
Anyway, if you stuck with me and read through all of that maybe you will check out my blog. When I moved it here to WA it was gone and I couldn't get to it for a little while. I felt like I couldn't breathe. A years worth of posts, work, research and learning was in limbo. They took care of my blog baby though. It's here now and back into my hands!
