I wish I would have. What I am adding and perfecting as I begin my second blog.

SO, I am in the process of starting a second blog. My first has only made me about 3 dollars. I have about 30+ posts on that blog. I am not giving up on my first baby. In fact I am constantly trying to make it better so it can perform. A year of hard work went into that blog!

In starting my new blog I have be redoing some research and training I completed with my first. Experience is an amazing thing. I still haven't launched #2 but I have found a few things I have to go back and fix one #1.

1. I wish I had sized my images correctly from the very beginning. I was so focused on written content. I will have a lot of images to go back and clean up! If I had just taken those few extra moments in the beginning to teach myself the correct way...

2. I wish I had edited the Permalink or URL for each post. I have a few list posts that have numbers like 11 Valentines Day books for kids. What if I want to make it 15 books now!? Or How to Promote Free Range Kids in 2018? I want that year to change now!!! Editing the title is easy but now the link that has been out for a year or more will not match without some serious work. Just understand the link wording does not have to match the title exactly. Focus more on the keywords and less on numbers.

3. There is a list of things I do to each post before it is published, after it is published and with each edit. I wish I had not just kept this list in my head... In the process of creating a spread sheet with all my posts so I can keep track of all the steps. I wish I had started this in the very beginning. I'm sure I will add posts and to dos to the list as time goes on.
