If you have already wrote your first three pages you have to set up the navigation menu.

To access your pages through your Home Page you have to activate the menu and add the three pages you have created. If you don’t make this step you won’t be able to see your pages in your home page.

It’s very easy:

  • 1.Log in to your website in “Site Manager
  • 2.Go to Wordpress back office
  • 3.Click in “Appearance” in the left side bar and then “Menus
  • 4.You have to introduce a Menu Name
  • 5.Click on the squares to choose the pages you want to see in your home page
  • 6.In the “Menu Structure” you can move up or down your pages to put them in the order you wish
  • 7.“Menu Settings” - if you click the square “Auto Add Pages” the new top-level pages are going to be automatically added to this menu
  • 8.To finish just click the button “Save Menu”.

Hi! I am just in the beginning stages of creating pages under my theme. How do I go about it? It was not explained how to create pages under a theme/topic.

Hi Kidcolt
The way you create pages is always the same in any theme.
Go to Dashboard, chose Pages, and than "Add Page".
You Just have to write your content on It.
Please let me know If you need some more help :)
Alex

ok. But the instruction was to write ten topics under each theme. I am in the affiliate training bootcamp. So I just have to write the content all under one page?

Thank you!

Almost year after you wrote this it is still handy. Thanks. I updated my theme while updating other things and it did a complete change of things on me. Some good some bad. Pages are not in a top menu anymore so going to try this.

Wow thank you sooo much for this info, asked in the forums and nobody new why I couldn't do this ...... will just add though in case others are stuck, it didn't work straight away until I went to manage locations and selected the menu I had just created (following the steps you explained).... it will be in the drop down box called Primary Menu under Theme location.

Again Thank You Alex, was tearing my hair out trying to figure this out, was close to quitting ....you are a life saver x
