Can I go back to Starter Member in WA?
Some people thinks that you can go back to Starter Membership after having gone Premium.
Unfortunately, it is not possible!
It wouldn't be fair to others members who paid! You cannot go back to being a free member. There is no going back!
You can leave WA and can come back as you wish, but always as a Premium Membership.
There is no such thing as downgrading to Starter Member. Once you are a Premium Member you will always be set as a Premium Member.
If you want to leave WA, you have 30 days to move your domains from the WA server, except siterubix.com which is a WA property, but you have also 30 days to transfer the content of the website.

I am not able to keep up with the monthly payments so I am thinking about cancelling my membership. Can I still use my affiliate links though? My website is based on promoting WA so that is why I am wondering. Thanks!
it is true if you step down from being premium you have to move your site elsewhere, however I have notice some members have left then came back later
Hi Katie! Yes it is true. If you want to leave and if you need to access your website, you have to move it elsewhere.
But if you leave and don't move your website, when you came back your website is going to be right here where you left it!

Hi Katie! If you don't move your website and come back after the 30th day, WA can re-activate your sites. They can re-activate a dormant site from 2 years ago, but I think you have to ask for it. Can You Cancel A WA Premium Membership And Come Back?

As you probably know, I have a "2nd bite" here at WA. When I cancelled my membership and then wanted to come back as a free member, I was surprised (and a bit disappointed) that it wasn't possible. I even wanted to make a blog post about it. I'm glad I didn't because I fully understand it now. It's the only way to do it.

Hi Janus, thank you for sharing your case. I think most members think that they can go back to starter membership if they want to! But this is the only way to do it!
Thanks for making this so clear to others, Alex. It does make sense though that once you have been a premium member and gained all the knowledge and experience through WA that you should not then be able to go back to a Starter Membership.
