WA - thank God I took it on!

Hello Everyone,

Adelaide here, and some who I have connected with would be familiar with me already.

I just want to give an overview of my journey here on WA since October 16 2016 when I joined. That is just over 2 months ago!

A bit of interesting background..........

I am one of those people who scout the internet for opportunities a lot - I generally read a lot on online stuff. I have tried many things and I even have 2 binary options accounts! - that is how much I have been looking for opportunities to create an additional income.

But I never really got introduced to the concept of treating any of the online opportunities as 'businesses'. This is the first platform that emphasized to me that their approach to their online concept is that it is a BUSINESS - which means hard work - everyday dedication and motivation - community support - and mostly ACTION!

That to me was more realistic than the sugar-coated schemes all over the web, where, as most of us already know, we have been scammed before with a promise for a quick buck with little or no work! Oh please ask me, I have been on endless international calls trying to recover some of my small monies and failing to, or being hounded by round-the-clock calls from all over the world because you signed up on one website and they all shared or stole your details. Anyone been there?? -:)

Funny thing is they go through the very same databases and repeat calling the very same people they have scammed before - and they have done that to me too! You almost want to laugh at the whole cycle and how obvious it is after the scales over your eyes have been washed off by hard-earned lessons! :-) It's a tiring life full of lessons learnt and mistakes never to be repeated.

But anyway, my WA Journey so far.....................

The first time I read about WA I doubted it - so I did not sign up. Roughly 3 months later I bumped into it again and decided to sign up. And I must say the knowledge I have gained in 2 months is just marvellous.

Who would have known that:

1. I would have created my own website - which I actually think looks great! :-). So I chose to go with a Small Space Living niche that focusses on furnishing small spaces. Three months ago I had no idea what a niche is or even that I could expand my interest into furniture for small spaces - let alone enjoy writing about it - like seriously?? :-)

2. And learnt tons each day on how to create quality content and share it with the world - the courses here are just marvellous. I enjoy them and each next course is some delightful discovery. And the community support is just so amazing you can only feel encouraged to go on because you see so many like-minded serious people.

I remember seeing some of the shared websites after quickly doing my first 2 pages by nonchalantly following Kyle's classes - perhaps I was still in doubt-mode! I was like wow this is no joke, other folks are taking this to another level, I better up my game! So I went back and re-designed by website trying to keep up.

3. Got my website Google indexed - this I was so proud of! I have my share of the web pie now. Feels wonderful!

4. Expanded my social presence - now I have a G+ account?! LOL please I did not even know G+ existed before a week ago! I only had Facebook and a dormant Twitter account. And now I see the value of those accounts or new ones focussed on my niches.

5. Felt like I can help others and be helped too - the give and take culture here is amazing, teaches to uproot the selfishness in us and give first before taking. As simple as this seems, it just creates better people in us in the process. Helping others first becomes the norm - and don't we just need exactly that in the world today?

My plans for the next 3 months in short......

1. Drive more traffic to my website and improve my Google rankings - this would be a dream come true for me!

2. Work at monetizing my website

3. Ensure my 1 niche gets as successful as possible before introducing another

4. Use my facebook presence to create a group on a campaign that sits really hard on my heart.

I tend to pour out a lot - so let me pen off here! I would like to look at my 6 months goals next, but this is enough for now.

Thanks so much WA - I feel truly blessed and do not regret this move - especially my upgrade to Premium - which I pondered over for days!

I wish everyone all the success and unfailing motivation.

Cheers - To success!
