Usage Rights for Affiliate Product Photos

This may be a stupid question, but if you affiliate with a company are you allowed to use the photos of their products from their websites to link to you hoplink? I mean, they always have the very best photos of their products there. You would think they would want those photos plastered everywhere! Wouldn't that generate them sales, and dress up your website?

I believe it all depends on their terms of use , the ones I have read usually say that you can or you either have to request it .
ok thank you. it just seems crazy to me that they wouldn't want their media shared openly so that their product is seen and on the top of the consumers mind. Like branding I guess. If you see coca cola everywhere your going to order coca cola....Right?
