I know {firstname} will work in the message body, but what about in the message title?

Hi Andrew,
You have to be really fast to answer someone's
questions here.
Glad you found out you can in fact do that.
Have a great day,
Pam

Thanks Pam! I appreciate you reaching out.

I have sent a few test emails to and from my SiteEmail. I can receive email sent from my SiteEmail but nothing is coming into SiteEmail. Ive checked all folders. Nothing. Pleas

Try using your external email link

I would ask Site Support for assistance.

Hi Andrew may sound obvious but have you checked using an external email like a gmail account to your site email account to see if that works ?

Ill see if that will work. Thanks

Andrew

Is this a full mailbox or a forwarded address?

Have you checked your sent items on the account you are sending from?

Thanks for getting back to me. I still cant get anything to send to my inbox but I was able to get the email foward to a gmail account to work. Is there any way I can make my replies from that gmail account show up into their inbox as my domains email, as opposed to a gmail one? Since it wont let you have a inbox and a foward.
Andrew

I always use the full mailbox and haven't had any issues, however, if the forward option is working for you then great :-)

The training below should help you configure SMTP in Gmail to allow you to send as your domain's address

Worked perfectly. Thanks so much!
Andrew

You're welcome Andrew :-)

Do I need to submit a new sitemap to google and bing after each new post or page? Or is it automatic?

You can do it again. Won't hurt.

Edwin

Thanks Edwin!
Andrew

It is , but early in my Affiliate marketing career I received a few 404 errors and had to resubmit my site map. Jim

Thanks Jim!
Andrew

You only have to submit your Sitemap once and the search engines will automatically crawl it for your new additions/updates.

If you want to speed up indexing, the correct method is to use the URL Inspection tool within Google Search Console, not the re-submitting your Sitemap approach.

Thanks Chrystopher!
Andrew

Essentially yes - but no harm in repeating it as you add content. Most will say you should

Awesome. Thanks for the info!
