I just created a facebook page, and I was just curious if anyone else has promoted on facebook and whether or not it was a good move.
Yes, lots of people promote on Facebook. It takes a while for a new page to get likes and interaction but good for business once it gets going. :)
I'd like to know too. Obviously I want referrals but I don't want people to feel like I'm bombarding them.

It is up to you if you want to interact on Facebook. There are many other social media sites to join. Some people do, others not.

Are you following the training : both Get Started and Bootcamp have training in them :-) and there are lots of blogs too to get ideas on what to write about. To start pick say 3 things about martial arts off the top of your head, then for each one write 10 more things and go from there. Somethings it helps me to do "free writing" where you take one idea ( martial arts" and then just write for 10 -15 minutes on the subject don't worry about spelling, grammar,just let your thoughts go..... this also helps with writers block... Hope this helps ;-)
I agree with Michelle, also you can monetize when you are ready
by promoting "martial arts training mats" and other tools of the art.
You would want to start looking at keywords and finding those that are low on competition (under 300 QSR) and traffic of at least 50. Keywords about martial arts, anything that is relevant to that subject, can go on your website.
For example, I found the keyword phrase "martial arts training mats" and it has traffic of 136 and a QSR of 63. That would be an idea of something you could create a post about.

I'm trying to purchase my domain but I don't see the option to set up the wealthy affiliate name servers. Where is it?
The name servers are:
http://ns1.mywahosting.com
http://ns2.mywahosting.com
You have to purchase your domain first before you can set up the name servers.
If you are on http://namecheap.com, here is a quick tutorial for you: Manage Domains
hi, have you purchcased the name yet? Once you buy it then there will be a link that says 'transfer DNS to webhost" you click on that and then delete the nameservers written there and put in the WA ones. If you are with namecheap then its on the left hand side once you have your domain paid for - look under 'manage domain'
