Hip Hip Hurrah
Unbelievable
Things happen sometimes unbelievably. I am not a big writer and English is not my native language. All I know is a bare workable English which I have been learning for last forty years. Still I find difficult to give a shape to my tongue when I speak English.
Weird Question
I was giving a ride to my rider on a uber and he was asking me something. He sounded like speaking in English to me but it was kind of babbling. Spontaneously he asked me a question - Do you understand English? I just smiled and let it go which is my style.
Crazy Supervisor
My trainer comes to me and says, the supervisor wants to talk to you for a minute. I went to see her and she pulled me to a room which was quiet. She goes - Do you understand what your trainers are telling you? I said YES why not? If you feel that you cannot understand English let me know so that I can find someone who speaks your native language.
What on the earth is happening here?
What do you say all you folks - Is my English that bad ?

Yes I am sure. I went to your site and left you a comment. There were a few very small bumps. But nothing too noticeable. But all in all I think you are doing very well and fluent.
Awww it’s possible you said something that made him wonder if you understood the question.. Try again and see. Your English seemed fine to me. Let’s try again..
Its way better than my (insert your home language here)
Keep plugging away my friend and if your boss lady ever offers you any free courses, on language or otherwise, take them.

Do you find conversation more challenging than reading and writing in English? Either way, don't let anyone make you feel ashamed of your effort to speak English as a second language. As far as writing goes, you're doing fine. By the way, do you enjoy driving for Uber? I've had to use Uber a lot lately. So, I like to ask the drivers what they think about it. Then they start telling me about all their interesting Uber adventures.
