Where Do All Website Technical Issues Rely?
This week we were bombarded by techinical issues faced by WA community. Different issues but all boil down to technical.
1. Indexing articles and posts-This is an SEO work. I cannot index my work, WA cannot index anyone's work inside and outside WA.
2. Theme Incroachment-This is WordPress responsibility together with Wealthy Affiliate as the web host. They are responsible in the protection and security of all the sites they host?
This is what WA says:
SiteProtect, Increased Spam ProtectionWebsite security is becoming more and more important to the overall success of a website. The SiteProtect feature at Wealthy Affiliate adds a three-point protection layer on your websites. Comment Spam, Back Office Hacking (passwords), and Website Load Speeds (Botnet Attacks). These are the three ways hackers look to wreak havoc on your business and we protect you from all of these with the SiteProtect platform.
3. Code related Matters
One of my sites had shown a code that is displayed on the left corner when opened. I haven't changed anything for more than a month but I am surpised this week there was a code inserted. I don't know if you call that as hacked.
So where will we go? What safe place is for everyone?
What would be the wisdom for us this day?

Yes, I should have done it but I did what I think I can do and if the problem persists I would see the tech persons.
Marion has you cover. And she is always correct when it comes to WordPress issues. WA the best web hoster there is. Site support has always been there for me. Even when I am the one with a lack of knowledge. WA is the most secure web hoster there is. I am well aware they are updating the back side of the platform, and I do even pretend to understand — these issues. But do feel secure in there ability to keep this platform up to date.

Always contact Site Support if you have technical issues with your website. Contact Site Support for Technical Issues With Your Website They are there for website technical issues and nothing else so they should be able to help with your problems.
You haven't said which site you're having the issue with so I can't see what you're seeing,
It's on the uccpako.com but I changed the theme when I noticed that. It came to my mind that because it's a free theme so it could be easily hacked. Not only that particular thing that I noticed with that theme, all the codes I placed on the header was removed.
If I still opt for free themes because I couldn't afford yet what best ones is relatively secure?
When choosing a free theme or plugin I always check on wordpress.org that there are lots of active installs, good reviews, and excellent support. Insecure themes get removed from the wordpress.org repository.
Do you know what the code says? I assume you asked Site support? If it is not good they will tell you. You may not have changed anything, but did you do any updates you don't remember?
I did something way late one night and regretted it. It was late I was tired, but easy fix when I was fresh in the morning. Lucky for me. Hope it did not affect anything for you.
Take care,
Bill
I could not remember anymore because upon noticing it I immediately replaced the theme. Thinking over the experiences I read from the community it seems that security is becoming unpredictable.

It is bad when us non-millennials need a safe place.
