Wealthy Affiliate Community Traffic Can Push a Site
I was thinking if we could help each other when it comes to site traffic that could boost a site or even traffic that converts.
If we are thousands here at WA we can popularize a site in just a short time by regularly visiting each ones' site and promoting it in the outside world.
If we can agree we could do this as we develop our content. A thousand members of the community can be of great help to realize this. Just a hundred traffic every day matters a lot.
If we do this we have to reveal to each other our own sites through emails and private messages.
What do the community think about this?

Many have been banned from that comment section because you have to give comments first before you earn credit for comments on your site, it's much better directly on the site.
It is good enough that somebody visits a site and read your posts then no one. Traffic builds trust.
This is definitely not a new topic, Jimmy; someone will usually present a variation of what you're talking about every few months.
Although the idea of having thousands of WA member visiting your site sounds appealing, I would be much more interested in increasing organic traffic. If 1,000 people visited your site because you asked them to, how could you determine if your content is capturing the public's attention, or even relevant?
A few months ago, someone suggested that we buy from each other; so if someone was in need of purchasing from Amazon, they could just let the community know, and if someone needed a sale, they would click onto that person's site. There were a few people who do this, but then it fizzled.
Again, it sounded like a great idea, but I couldn't help but wonder - and even made mention of this - that in the 12 years Wealthy Affiliate has been in business, why neither of the founders had ever suggested this activity to the community.
Veronica, let's say if a thousand member is exposed to different sites from the community. Maybe they can find some interest there and makes a regular visit just to make their presence every day. That will surely boost a site. Is it not good enough to do that?
I'm not opposed to the idea, Jimmy. I'm just saying it just never seemed to take off whenever this idea has been mentioned before, but that's not to say it wouldn't work. It would probably just require a lot of work to really get it going.
Try to visit 10 sites every day and leave a comment and see what will happen that's the only way to test. If those ten sites you have visited will give back then you 'll have ten visitors every day from WA alone plus your visitors outside.
I will be doing this to test what I thought could happen.

Sign me up! I'm ready and it sounds like a brilliant idea. Why has no one ever thought of this before? There would need to be rules, of course---only quality posts/comments, maybe even a minimum word requirement? (I'm thinking 25- 50) I would be more than willing to send lots of well-thought-out comments!

Why not, as long as there are rules set that no spamming will take place. If we give out an email then I do not like to receive a thousand emails a day presenting the goods we sell on our site.
But I guess no one likes that.
No, we only email our site but no more, each will go directly to the site every day and that makes a traffic.

Good idea as everyone is different and if all knows the keywords and conversation to explain that gives traffic.
Yes, we can all learn from the website of each of us as we visit them and see their niches.
