She was sick but is healed, the Evidence
I know personally, a member of our own church, a woman who was diagnosed with hypertension, heart problem, kidney stone, and diabetes. She is now more than 90 of age and the diagnose was rendered in her late 70s.
She was advised by the doctor to shun away from meat and oily foods, and instead indulge in vegetables and fruits. Because she wanted to be healed she religiously followed her doctor. She said, after 10 years of self-discipline and not because of medication I am healed. No more diabetes, no more kidney stone, no more hypertension, no more heart problems.
I would like to inform everybody that we are Protestant Christians who can eat anything in this world even the poisonous snakes. Nothing is prohibited but when it comes to health issues we listen to scientific explanations, we seek for evidence and this woman is such one of them.
I was also diagnosed with heart enlargement, hypertension, kidney stone, prostate problem, with asthma symptoms, and having a migraine. If I have to treat all these I will surely die of thinking where will I get an amount and budget for doctors' fee and medicines.
Because I don't have the means I just rely upon self-healing and that includes getting rid of too much meat and processed foods. I usually take fish and vegetable and fruits.
When I was taking medicine for hypertension, heart, and acquired symptomatic asthma it seemed I was not getting well. Without the knowledge of my doctor, I stopped all those medicines except for hypertension. It's about four years now that I feel better than before.
I said to myself, yes, there is a real power in fruits and vegetables they are much better than meat. I'm sure I will live longer.
However, please don't do what I'm doing, please consult your doctor, I might be blamed for what consequences it brings to you. This is courage and believing on the alternative medicine.

Congrats Jimmy on implementing a healthier lifestyle. Its medically proven that the health benefits we get from fish, raw vegetables, whole foods, and fruits have he MOST positive effect over the long term toward good health.
However for me its difficult to complete give up meat, so I choose to moderate my meat intake, no more than 2x per week. And adding lots of fruits and vegetables every day.
You are right Kaju, moderation will keep the balance. You know what that woman usually had in her stomach? We call it "bulanglang", it's a combination of string beans, bottle gourd, ginger, salt, water just boiled together make a delicious soup and viand.
Correct Pablo. Sometimes we need to feel hungry so our body could burn what is excessive before we eat again.
