New User Registered to My Site
I have been notified twice by Google that somebody is registered user of my site. You can see on the image below.
Is this something good to know about or is something to worry about?Recent Comments

You've got bots coming to your site. Go to Settings > General and take the tick out of the box "Anyone can register". Then go to Users > All Users and delete the ones that shouldn't be there.
If you haven't got something set up properly for people to register then all you'll get is bots.
Hi Marion,
How can you tell which one is the bots? Where can I get more information about this?
The email address is .ru (Russia). And I know from experience that bots crawl around the internet looking for vulnerable WordPress websites to attack.
In WordPress, all "users" have access to the admin area of your website, not just the front end. So you should exercise extreme caution when you allow anyone to enter the admin area of your site.
You may have your website set up that before anyone can leave a comment, they must log in be a registered user. Also, the could be signing up for your RSS feed
Hi! Jimmy,
Just remove it by going to USERs as seen in SiteManager, there you can just delete it. Same event happened to me twice and I removed it as suggested - such trick was provided to me by a supporting WA member and it worked.
Best to success,
James
I've checked and there are four subscribers so I would not worry about this.
Thank you for coming in the discussion.
Hi, for sure you need to worry about. User registrations comes from the admin, that means when you add someone for instance as a content writer. In this case if you're not sure you have added this person you need to worry. Try contact the support section
Hope it helped.
Cheers
Or either if you had plugins installed for customers to login your website, than i guess nothing to worry about.

I had the same thing happen to me today. I followed Marion's instructions and the new user is now gone.

Yes, thank you for your experiences. It's true that experience is the best teacher.
