Misplaced Comments

Misplaced Comments are comments intended for a site but placed on another site.

It's not a feed back turned into a comment but it's a real comment.

Have you experienced having this misplaced comments? I did.

I happended to open two websites and unconciously as I was formulating my comment on the first one, the second website was the one I was into.

I placed my comments and the machine warned me that I have to visit the site first. That was the time I've known that I was into the wrong site.

Thanks for the algorithm that works perfectly for this. If not my comment would have been disapproved.

I was saved.

Thank you

Good save Jimmy!

Yes, Mike.

When we used site comments we have to be extra careful so that there is always one site open at a time. It hasn't happened to me yet.

I rather use feedback that is easier for me then comments. I don't know I always mess up in site comments. My comments usually get disapproved when my feedback doesn't.

Mary

Hahaha, you made me happy Mary. I'm not happy because you made a mistake but just like me you are being confused exchanging feedback and comments.

Be more extra-careful. This time I get very rare disapproval, hahaha. Why? I want to say to myself I know what a comment is. And it makes me laugh when I get disapproved again.

Okay, I am not really confused I know the differences it is just easier with feedback because you know exactly what they want but with comments,

They ask questions that you have to answer and sometimes you just don't know what to say if you are not familiar with the content of the site.

So that is why I am not really worried about comments right now.

Mary

Good you are not confused but for me I'm being confused, confused if I'm on the feedback or on the comments. Sometimes even I know I'm in the comment side I am thinking that I'm in the feedback.

Yes, I understand what you mean it can be confusing because some of the members are confusing the two.

With the feedback, you know what you need to do. But with the comments, you answer questions about the site. That is why I said feedback is easier than the comments

Mary

That's what I learned because many times I just give a comment on the site and not on the post being presented.
Although my comment is for and about that site, maybe it is not related to the post.

Sometimes I am thinking that I'm in the feedback as I write a comment. I know I'm faced with a comment but my thinking is outside and that makes it misplaced.

I wished that Kyle and Carson would have set up comments similar to feedback as far as given us the choice of doing general comment and so on and so on.

I believe that would have been less confusing. I believe that would have made a big difference and people would have been less confused.

But that is my own opinion though.

Mary

I think the WA is clear in its system but we have to be aware of what we are doing. Set aside confusions and be true to oneself.

There were times I complain because I thought I am correct but when I see what I did, I was really wrong. Imagine when site is open for a comment, this is the part that is confusing, as for me in my part: the title of the site and the tile of the post. Although my comment is valid tor the site it is invalid for the post because I have commented on the site title or on other post not the one presented. So I learned a lot.

I agree with you 100% about paying attention and being aware of what we are doing. We have to be more alert so that we don't make any mistakes on Site Comments anymore. The bottom line we just have to be careful that's all.

Mary

Absolutely.

👍👌 :):)

Hi Jimmy, this almost happened to me too because I had two websites opened at the same time. So whenever I use the Site Comment platform, I make sure to view one website at a time.

Thank you Alice for coming by. How are you, it's been a long time I haven't seen you.

Yeah, I have to do it one by one next time. It's good I haven't submitted it, once submitted there is no way of editing, it is as good as final.

I'm doing good Jimmy, just busy with a lot of stuff. Thank you for asking.

Good to hear you are doing well.

Jimmy,
Thanks for the post I did not have this happen to me
but great to know there is a safety net.
Susan

I'm sure it will not happen to you because you are careful and you have read this, hahaha.

I had this happened to me a couple of years ago. I was requesting comments for a post of mine and one comment I received had absolutely nothing to do with my post or my website as a whole either. This person's comment had to do with gym equipment and my website has nothing to do with that niche. I had to disapprove it, but told that person to search for that website again and put the appropriate comment there.

We really cannot do otherwise but to disapprove when misplaced. To me I would not complain if it happened.
