I'm Closer to My Mother
Not only because I grew under her breast and over her loving arms.
Not only because in my conscious and unconscious young state was being beside her day and night.
But because she was in those days it was clear she was eager to become more active than my father in making decisions for us their children.
Does this mean my mom is an empowered woman?

Mothers always try to do what they think is the best for their children.
I know, for children is hard to understand it, some days are good and some days not too good.
Think moms always have a big heart.
I understand you Alejandra. Any wisdom shared will never be wasted it will always become a part of their life.
She was empowered to keep you safe, and she was a strong decision-maker. The same was of me with my mom, Jimmy.
It sounds like she was but then she again she was motivated to care for you so you could be the success you are today.

She was in charge and, indeed, empowered in her own way. I recall how my grandfather used to discuss with my grandmother the business of the following day. In the most polite manner, grandma would give advice. Guess what? Grandpa implemented the advice as his decisions.
As it is said: “Behind every successful man ...”
Awesomeness!
Mojalefa.
. . . is a woman. Women are wise decision makers.
