Ripoff Reports is a site that rips you off reputation, authority in your own site by having negative reviews. It's a one sided site that only presents it's negative views and does not offer an alternative view.

I've used it on a few companies. The ones I filed the complaints on never responded to them, and no resolution was made.
The company I filed the complaint on was unresponsive, unless they are just hiding.
If someone filed a complaint about my business on ripoff report, I would respond to it right away.
I hope Ripoff Reports responds too and fix the irrelevant information being brought to their site.
I've filed one or two complaints on there for companies that pretty much ripped me off. It was the last thing I could do as I tried to work things out with the merchant directly, ended up going past the time to file a dispute, and as a result couldn't get my money back.
Well, I actually don't think RipOff Report goes around trying to intentionally defame people. I think the opposite is true in most cases. Regular people got ripped off and didn't have any source of redress so they post on RipOff Report.
As you can imagine, a company that continually rips off people would tend to get a lot of RipOff reviews. This would hurt their business so they are going to do everything in their power to get their company off of the RipOff review website, even if the review was 100% warranted.
You are welcome. People must be informed of this useless sites which will only destroy other sites for their own interest.
