How is it to Customize the Menu?
I am wondering how those who have already worked for years in their own website. And I am thinking that maybe they have already plenty of articles posted.
Let's say you already have more than three hundreds posts, how do you customize it so that you need not to scroll up and down the long list in order for you to put your new post under a category or a page?
Is there an easier way or a short cut so you don't have to use a long time in scrolling to find the proper place for your drop down menu?
Thank you for responding to the question and helping me and the community.

I installed a theme called magazine Lite which has up to six homes. This will help you to categorize your item to different homes. I think it is good and helpful
We can put any post under a page or a category. However, how can we solve the issue of having a long list and you scroll the whole thing to find that category or page where you will put your post?
If I may understand what you mean, why I mentioned this theme that has about six homes is to enable anyone who wants to use it to separate their categories into homes so that each time you want to post you post it to home that has relationship to the article you want to post. This will help to group the related articles together for easy access. I have not actually grouped mine but I am planning to when I get enough articles. I hope it helps
Another thought -- what about month category as well? That is sometimes useful to help prioritize when the articles were written.
A search bar is the quickest for finding the article...
Thank you for asking the question...
I know all our questions are just customization and settings but we have to discover. However, it is easier if somebody knows it and directly gives the guide to do it.
Perhaps you don't need to have so many categories. A category is a group of posts on a common topic. Try to reduce the number of categories and add a search bar.
You can add your categories to your menu instead of each individual post. Menu With Custom Links and Drop Down Non-Clickable Headings
My problem is that when I add a post in a Menu I have to drag it up and down and it's a long list and sometimes when you get loose on the mouse while you are dragging it, it will go somewhere else and you have to look for it again.
Dragging by holding the mouse is a bit tiring while you look at the page. If there's a shortcut on how to put a post under a page then it would be better than scrolling up and down.
If it's on the top it is easier for you will just press "to the top" but when it is in the middle you have to be patient.
Don't add any posts to the menu. Use categories instead. Add each post to a category and add the categories to the menu. When someone clicks on the category all the posts in that category will magically appear on a special page. This is the purpose of categories. Always test.
I have to discover before testing.
