1 minus 1 equals 2, Answer Revealed
Thank you for participating in identifying answers for the mathematical question on my previous post. Maybe many of you know the answer but you haven't tried and just remained silent. To those who have tried you have done your best and that helped me not to just keep the question unanswered.
I would like to share with you a Family Planning Brief Description of Program in my own country, Philippines and here it is:
The program is anchored on the following basic principles.
- Responsible Parenthood which means that each family has the right and duty to determine the desired number of children they might have and when they might have them. And beyond responsible parenthood is Responsible Parenting which is the proper upbringing and education of children so that they grow up to be upright, productive and civic-minded citizens.
- Respect for Life. The 1987 Constitution states that the government protects the sanctity of life. Abortion is NOT an FP method:
- Birth Spacing refers to the interval between pregnancies (which is ideally 3 years). It enables women to recover their health improves women's potential to be more productive and to realize their personal aspirations and allows more time to care for children and spouse/husband, and;
- Informed Choice that is upholding and ensuring the rights of couples to determine the number and spacing of their children according to their life's aspirations and reminding couples that planning size of their families has a direct bearing on the quality of their children's and their own lives.
The current population of the Philippines is 103,814,723 and this as of July 8, 2017. In 2010 the government aimed to have a crackdown on the population explosion in the Philippines through a bill. The Bill would create a new agency called the Commission on Population which would 'encourage' families to have only two children, and promote the use of abortifacient drugs. This is serious stuff as it may not say so openly but it will effectively dictate how many children you can have.
For me, I would agree on having a limited number of children because of the continuing expansion and development of the Industrialization scheme affecting rice fields where rice supply basically comes from.
The fact is that we import rice from neighboring ASEAN countries because of different reasons and one of them is population.

Think of your nation having mothers bring 4 new babies in a minute and that makes 3 million babies in a year. This is too much.
One minus one equals two must be controlled it is our accountability.

Hence, the disconnection. I didn't visit the country for 31 years and when I did, it was a culture shock to put it mildly.
Kailangan ng Pilipinas ng massive educational upliftment at malaking mindset turnaround pagdating sa pagtingin natin sa sarili. This is crucial to getting the entire population, no pun intended, at an even keel starting with our South East Asian neighbors.

31 years is really long, I hope you are now free of risk if ever there are.
No risk, Jimmy. 31 years was in 2105 when I came back. I've always maintained cordial relations with everyone. I just decided to stay away from the rampant graft and corruption pervading the system there.
That's the safest way out.
