Affiliate Program Procedures and Successes
I would just want to know the experiences of the successful affiliate marketers here through the following questions:
1. After you have been approved as an affiliate of any program what particular succeeding step is necessary to do?
2. What affiliate program has helped you the most of all the affiliates you are with?
3. How long were you able to have commissions after having been approved as affiliate?
I thank everyone for sharing their experiences, opinions, and successes.

to me amazon was an easy setup however not the most lucrative
lots of work to promote with banners. text and carousels
other affiliate's like CJ and Awebber take some time to set up
i have had mixed blessings with those as my niche is specific
i think lots depends on that core Niche' i am not saying every niche isn't profitable or a do'er just some lends themselves better to certain affiliates
long term persistence seems the way forward

Most important thing to do - actually put the links into your site! That's where most people fail.
I'm not a fan of Amazon - they have the shortest cookie duration (only 1 day!) and lowest commission rates in the industry.
It's virtual impossible to define "best" - best in what? There are too many variables there. Best in conversions? Best in EPC? Best in approvals?
Narrow down your question and we will be able to help you more effectively.
Thanks, Jeanine for the kind answer. You've answered my question and I want to follow up.
What link are you going to put into your site, product link or affiliate link?
I don't see those as two different things. I would put a link containing my affiliate tracking code which points to the specific product I'm discussing. Is that what you were referring to?
If that's the process that you employed and it's making you the commissions, then that's the answer.
Yup. And it's the process I always recommend. I've been in the industry for 21 years and by far it's the best strategy.
Thank you.
