Check out Jay's latest video, you'll find it at FTC & Affiliate Links/Affiliate Disclosures
While I appreciated Jay's video training, he wasn't in 100% compliance with FTC requirements. I work for Awin, so we do insist that you follow the FTC best practices. I actually did a webinar entitled "Compliance and the FTC which is now available on the Awin YouTube channel. My guest was a former FTC lawyer who now lectures on the subject. FYI, I did share the video with Kyle and he liked it too.
I confess that I haven't watched Jay's video as I've already done my affiliate disclaimers according to the FTC requirements. I assumed (never assume), as Jay is an official trainer here, that he would know what he's talking about.
Yeah, Jay and I have had a brief discussion since that video about some of the finer points, such as you cannot place disclosures in sidebars or footers - it must precede the first affiliate link. I live this topic all day, every day, working with industry lawyers and the FTC on this at a national level (I work for Awin and am responsible for thoroughly understanding compliance for the Awin Group, our US division.) For sure his update was desperately needed, but some of the details were not fully on target.
Then why not take out Amazon insert AWIN.
You have to amend the Docs that you have access to within WA to suit your particular needs and circumstances.

I'm glad to answer that - I work for Awin. Yes, we ask you to use the FTC guidelines. However this can have some fun in it too. We have a webinar on it on the Awin channel on YouTube which covers the the rules and ways to create the right disclosure to fit your site. Let me know if I can help!

i have been using the content uniqueness checker for checking my content before publishing but regardless of how many times i alter it i get the message content not 100% unique
It happens sometimes. Why I have no idea.
It happens to me every once in a while too.
Whe I know for a fact that the content is an original that I worked on, I submit it anyway.
Haven't had any problems .
Mike
Yes, I wrote a post and shared it with you in LiveChat. Most of the time, it is the headline that is not unique. My blog outlines a technique for troubleshooting the issue.

How do you add the first name variable into your message when you invite new members in the referrals area
When I was starting out, I simply copied someone else's template here. You can use our search tool here to look for those templates. I edited some parts to make them more personalized to me.

The post that is reached by an internal link does not need a key word in the title. Will that title eventually become a keyword when google reads it a few times.
Not sure if I am understanding your question right. But i believe you are asking if the internal link that you put on a post needs to have specific anchor text?
The answer to that would be no. The text that yuo use to link to another part of your site can be whatever you want it to be. From an SEO standpoint, it would be best to use a keyword or something close to it to make the actual link to the other part of your site.
Hope that helps.
