Hi, yes you would have written 20 - 30 posts and have some traffic before you can apply to affiliate programs, as typically they would check your site for relevance and traffic prior approval.
For Amazon it would be 15 - 20 posts.
The recommendation is updating blog 2 - 3 posts a week a niche a site and that's for the foreseeable future.
You can do a google search
Your niche + affiliate programs
Your niche + affiliate programs + location
and see what results you get
