Hello everyone, today I really wanted to explore want it is that sets highly motivated people who achieve their goals and dreams apart from others. We each have the same ability to achieve the life we want, so what makes some people reach their desired reality, while others never quite hit the mark?

Lets us ponder the question 'what does it really take to be highly motivated? Let us explore what it is that others are doing differently in creating their success. It all comes down to the very habits they are using each and every day. It is all about taking responsibility for our own success.

Did you know that you can actually teach success! YES... you can train yourself to have the exact same habits as highly motivated people. It all starts with your awareness and once you know, you can begin to practice the same daily habits. You owe it to yourself and deserve to live the life of your dreams. Lets explore the habits of highly motivated people shall we...

1. They have an extraordinary sense of purpose

People who are highly motivated will always know what they are working towards. They have a clear vision, know what it is they want and they find ways in which to achieve it. They set their goals high and are always reaching higher than the goal before.

2. They have a strong plan

Self-motivated people don't just leave things to chance, they create their success! Planning will help you to get tasks done in the most efficient way possible. Someone who is highly motivated knows this and will make use of it. Start your mornings by planning all the things you have to do, and you will be amazed at how much more productive you become.

3. They are willing to take risks

People who are highly motivated in achieving success are those who are not afraid to take risks towards creating their dreams into reality. They have enough confidence to step outside of their comfort zone and go beyond any self made limitations and into new territory. They are willing to try out new ideas and strategies to create success.

4. They rise above adversity

A highly motivated individual will not allow the small stuff to get in the way of their ability to achieve goals and greatness in life. You wont see them dwelling on problems for too long. If they mess up in some way; whether writing their content, public speaking, failing a test, getting rejected, or doing something embarrassing, they don't allow it to define who they are long term.

5. They learn from their mistakes

Successful people don't let their mistakes stop them from achieving all of their goals. They see mistakes as a way to learn and grow into all they can be by accepting them and looking at what they can do differently to reach their goals next time. Each lesson is another stepping stone to achieving success.

6. They get help when needed

There is always a point in everyone's life when asking for help is needed. Highly motivated people are not afraid to ask for the help needed in order to learn and grow. They don't let their ego and stubbornness stop them from reaching their goals. You cannot receive unless you are willing to ask first.

7. They are grateful

Highly motivated and successful people are also highly grateful people. Gratitude shifts our vibration and magnetises us towards even greater success and happiness. Highly motivated people know this and use it to keep them grounded and remind themselves of how they got to where they are already. Each day begin writing down a list of at least 10 things you are grateful for, no matter how big or small. See how it changes your life after 30 days.

8. They wake up early each morning

Most people seem to perform better and be more productive when starting their day earlier. While the rest of the world is still tucked away snoring in bed, highly motivated people are completing their daily tasks. They are able to focus with less distractions and even new inspiration seems to flow through effortlessly.

9. They are consistent and committed

Highly motivated people do not give up until they succeed at their goals. They are persistent in all that they do. When needed they change directions and try out a variety of options to get what they want rather than just give up and stay where they are stopping all progress.

10. They strive for health and balance in all areas of life

Highly successful and motivated people take time out to nourish themselves in every aspect of their being. They look after their physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and social needs. They always remember that the longest relationship they have is with themselves and through self care they can help others more efficiently.

11. They have a positive attitude

Successful people stay focused on the positive side of life and act as if it is impossible to fail at their goals. They believe in themselves whole heartedly and in their ability to achieve what they want. They don't let negativity slow them down and move away from anything not serving their work or growth.

12. They do not place limits of their growth or potential

Highly motivated people never stop learning, trying and growing. They give themselves permission to pursue their dreams without worrying whether they are good enough. They find ways to let go of mind made limitations and allow themselves to see the possibility of infinite potential that really exists. Stop for a moment and imagine your life in 5 years from now. What are you doing and what have you achieved? Now, see if you can stretch beyond that idea into something even greater, even if at first it seems impossible.

Highly motivated people see their life as an ever unfolding journey that expands infinitely higher with each new goal; there is end to the growth and potential. They would hang up a vision board of their goals and ideal reality somewhere where they can see to keep themselves highly motivated.

What about you? Will you do these highly motivational habits?

Step up and take responsibility for your success!

"I am never a victim of life’s circumstances; I am empowered, stronger and even more courageous because of each experience I needed to face. The choice is mine to consciously face and move through the challenges of life, be an example, and show others how to do the same."

Enjoy your beautiful day dear friends and remember your true power within! The things we do today were once considered impossible and the things we'll do tomorrow will utterly astound us today. Continuously move towards understanding your own mind made limitations and then give yourself permission to stretch beyond the barrier. Remember that anything that has ever been created or achieved was once just a thought. Believe in yourself, your dreams, and give love to all.

You are most welcome Sandra. Blessings and success. :)))

Great list Abagail. Motivation is defined as incentive or drive. To your point #1, your purpose, drive or incentive creates the rest of the list. Without that motivation and passion for your goal, you won't develop the discipline to carry out the other eleven.

Doug

Glad you enjoyed the list dear Doug and doing what you love makes all the difference. It is good to check in from time to time these great habits we can all do. Wishing you great success always. Blessings. :)))

I really needed to see that this morning. I am guilty of doing so many of the things you mentioned in this wonderful blog. Telling myself that I am a failure, complaining, and losing faith in my abilities. I really feel like I was meant to read this for a reason. You are wise beyond your years and we all have much to learn from you. I have been feeling so defeated again lately, but I made the decision to not give up last night. I refuse to be a victim of myself and society's standards and measure of success. Wow. Thank you, Abigail!

What a great synchronicity to experience Layla. I too believe we can be led to certain things for a reason. Don't feel guilty, so funny you said that because Carla and I were discussing the difference between guilt and taking responsibility just before (another synchronicity). We all have moments where we are not feeling too motivated; what is good to know is through awareness we can shift our mentality into higher gear, thus developing the habits of a successful person.

Even if we stumble, we have the ability to pick ourselves up and tell ourselves we love, accept and believe in our talents and abilities. I like to say affirmations especially in the morning as I power walk or jog... 'all I need is within me now.' We can be here and help motivate each other always. I love that part of this community. :)))

Coincidence? I think not!

The "Buddhas" say 'guilt' is a very destructive and ego based state of mind. They say it's like placing every rock you see in a bag on your back, as you walk up a steep slope. It needs to be rather replaced with 'regret,' where you acknowledge what you've done, promise to not do it again, and then fully let it go...(I know, I've been there)

That's exactly what it feels like.

Very nice Abigail.

Thank you Skip. Blessings. :)))

Wow, Abigail, that's impressive! It's an eBook in itself. Excellent!

Thank you so much Carla. That is an amazing compliment. It is just awesome to be sharing our passion and growth here. It is a blessing to be connected. :)))

I'll tell you what's missing, They Take Full Responsibility For Everything. Good or Bad they own it.

Yes dear Phil, acceptance is the key and this entire message means taking responsibility. Please remember that taking responsibility is quite different than guilt. Guilt is a vibration that keeps us trapped in victim mentality. It is about having awareness of our own sabotaging patterns without judgement, and then taking action required to move through into higher ground and make positive changes. Let's focus on what is not missing in any of us. All is within us NOW! We are whole and complete beings. Blessings and cheers to your success :)))

I'm glad you made that point, that taking responsibility is different than guilt. My mother always made us "own up," but it was guilt, not responsibility. She had to have someone to blame. Took me a long time to realize that difference and it's an important one!

I can relate to that also Carla with my father. I always felt guilt and a feelings of not being good enough from his way of bringing us up. He wanted us to be his definition of the best, and put conditions on his love if we did not meet his expectations. People can only give you the same amount of love they feel within. It is about breaking free of these old conditions and patterns. It is good to know that we are good enough and motivation/success comes when we learn to accept and embrace the being we are through unconditional love. Doing what we love also helps. :)))

I wholeheartedly agree. I was never good enough for my mother until the day she died. We need to realize that other people's opinions are simply that, opinions. It does not make it truth. Still, when it's your parents, it's difficult. I know all about conditional love.

Truth! Thank you.

Blessings Jade, and cheers to our success! :)))
