How Wealthy Affiliate is pushing me to do what I know I'm capable off!
Hi Community,
Hope everyone is having a productive day. I would like to share my progress thus far as I am on Course 4, Lesson 7.
I've joined WA about 2 months ago with NOTHING. When I say nothing, I mean I had no ideas of what I wanted to do, work-wise, since having my little boy. Everything that did come my way meant spending time away from him, something I just would HATE doing.
With the help of God, he guided me to WA and today I have a website that I can honestly say I'm proud off. It has ALOT, a lot, of work, yet to be done, I know that for a fact but it's something I did, I worked so hard to set up, something I struggle with, day in, day out to keep up with. It's proving harder than I thought with my little boy now so attached to me, I'm finding very little time to sit down and write, make youtube videos or be on social media.
Although I am sooo proud of what I have accomplished so far, to be honest, I was getting frustrated because I am not seeing any traffic or sales. I took a couple of days off to reflect. Well, guess what?! I've realized that
SUCCESS IS GOING TO TAKE TIME.THIS IS NOT JUST GOING TO 'HAPPEN' OVERNIGHT, IT WILL TAKE LOTS MORE HARD WORK AND SACRIFICE!! AND SHALL I FAIL, I WILL LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES, GET BACK UP AND KEEP GOING!!
Don't get me wrong, I knew this from before, but actually going through the process, doing the work and living it, gives me a whole new understanding of PATIENCE. As I write this I know my journey has just began and I will have so much more to overcome but with Gods help I will also have so much to celebrate!!
Just before writing this blog I checked my amazon account and saw I got 2 SALES!! YIPPEE!!! DANCING! BUTTERFLIES!! MORE DANCING!!!The items are not shipped as yet and my earnings are still at a FAT 0, but just to know that someone was on my site, clicked the link and bought something just gives me shivers. Am I actually SEEING RESULTS for my hard work???
