Finish The Game
If you are tired of starting over, then stop quitting. Be a finisher, not a quitter.
You already know that, I know. But we all need to hear it from time to time.
It can be really hard to stick with things in the beginning, when your out of your comfort zone, confused, frustrated, stressed and tired.
If you hang in there through these times, you will start to see success. Little successes here and there at first, then things will start to compound and stack up.
You will become more comfortable with what you are doing, more knowledgeable, more confident and much more successful.
Things will get easier and easier for you, but only if you hang in there through the tough beginning.
Naturally it will take some people longer than others, and that is perfectly OK. Just finish what you started and you will be amazed at what you have accomplished in the end.
Remember, you didn't come this far to only come this far!

In most cases, Aaron, but sometimes it is better to quit something that you are simply not interested in. Time is a scarce resource!
Jeff
It is a great thing to know when to hold'em and when to fold'em, Jeff. To me, that's not quitting. That's just a smart course correction, as long as you keep moving forward! Have a wonderful weekend, my good friend! :)
You took the original words right out of my mouth, Aaron, a'la Kenny Rogers!
Enjoy your Frisatsu!
Jeff
Yep! Good ole Kenny. I always liked that song and those Gambler movies. Thank you very much and I hope you are having a great weekend so far, Jeff! :)
Hey Aaron, good post as always.
I totally agree that we should never "quit", but what does quitting actually mean?
I've had a business in the past that was hemorrhaging money left, right and center.
I didn't want to give it up and "quit", we (my better half and I) tried everything to make it work out, working 18 hours a day, no time for ourselves, then inevitable arguments started, so what to do?
Step back and evaluate things, that's what, carry on like this and be bankrupt in a couple of years, or a complete change?
We decided to cut our losses there and then, in order to do something different.
Was it the correct decision or not? I really don't know! We could have stayed, doing what we were doing before and potentially made a fortune, or we could have ended up homeless!
Thankfully, I believe we made the right decision to be where we currently are, but I don't believe we "quit", we let it go to find a better alternative.
Here at WA and the affiliate marketing world, things can be very different, you don't need to outlay a huge amount of money in order to be successful.
For what is basically a cup of coffee a day, and a lot of hard work of course! We can all achieve success in the online business world.
Sorry for going on a bit my friend! Have a fantastic Frisatsu!:-)
Thanks my friend! In the self employed world we need to know what to do and when, otherwise financial situations can become critical!π«
I would say you didn't quit. You course corrected! lol Glad you didn't lose it all and end up homeless, Nick. Very well said and you make some really great points as always, my good friend. Sometimes you have to leave a sinking ship. I always thought that old tradition of the captain going down with the ship was nut. We don't give up, we don't quit but we do adjust, course correct and get on the rescue raft. lol Have a great weekend, my good friend! :)
You bet they do, Nick! I've had to cut loose a few things over time, and in fact, I still need to downsize a couple more things!π«πͺ
Cheers Aaron! Sometimes we just have to let the ship sink and not go down with it!
Enjoy your weekend my good friend!:-)
